4th of July Vacation 2024, Day 5 1/2

皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How's your day going today? 

 

 

 

さて、日本旅行記の反省も含めて、この夏バケーションは出来るだけその日の内にブログの記事を書くようにして、無事、記憶が新鮮な間に書くことが出来ました。（英語翻訳をつけるのに、また時間かかっちゃいましたけど。）
From a lesson that I learned when I was writing my Japan trip diaries, I tried to write this vacation diaries by the end of the day on a real time basis, so I could record things before my memories got faded. (Still, I took a while to translate the articles though.)

 

 

 

今回の4泊5日の夏バケーション、最終日のこの日も凄く良いお天気に恵まれました。
On this vacation for 5 days & 4 nights, the final day, Day 5, was blessed with very beautiful weather.  

 

 

 

朝、少しゆっくりしてから、荷物を全部車にパッキングして（と言いつつ、後で忘れ物に気付いたんですけどね。）、皆でこのバケーション最後のアクティビティに行きました。
In the morning, we had some relaxing time and packed everything in our car (still, I noticed that I forgot something after.) and then we all went out to the last family activity on the vacation. 

 

 

 

2日前にもAndyっちと一緒に来たミニゴルフ場。Hit-chanが一番好きなミニゴルフ場です。
The mini golf place where Andy and I went 2 days before. Again, my favorite mini golf place. 

 

 

 

入口でママが家族写真を撮ってくれました。
Mom kindly took this family picture for us at the entrance. 

 

 

このミニゴルフ場の名物巨大チェアにパパが座ってて可愛かったので、チーズ！
Dad was sitting on this giant chair at the front and he looked so cute, so I couldn't help taking a pic. Cheese!

 

 

 

この日も幸い空いていたので、皆揃って記念写真。
Thankfully, the mini golf place was not busy at all that day. Cheese!

 

 

Andyっち、ブラッド君、Hit-chanで一緒に周り。。。
Andy, Brad and I played the round together and...

 

 

めいはこんな風にグランパに教えてもらいながら、グランパ＆グランマと一緒に周りました。
May-chan played the round with Grandpa & Grandma like this. 

 

 

で、めいにとっても久しぶりのミニゴルフだったんですが、前よりも結構上手くなっており、何と何と、5歳にして人生初のホールインワンを達成！！
（グランパ曰く、それ以外にもあと少しでホールインワンっていうのが2回あったらしいです。凄い！！）
May-chan played mini golf for the first time in a while, but she played pretty well. What's a big and happy surprise was that she got the very first hole-in-one in her life at the age of 5!!
(Grandpa said that she also almost got a hole-in-one twice too. Go girl!!) 

 

 

 

ちなみにこの日、Hit-chanが調子よく、同じグループではトップになれました～。やった！
Here's the score of the day. Wow, I won in the group!! Yay!

 

 

 

大体毎回同じ所に行って、同じ事をしている我が家のバケーションですが、今回は初めてめいと二人でこちらに挑戦！
We usually do same things at same places on vacation, but this was what May-chan and I tried for the first time!

 

 

 

これ、何かと言いますと、迷路！
Yup, it was a maze. 

 

 

このミニゴルフ場には迷路があって、前から存在は知っていたんですが、今回が初挑戦。
The mini golf place has the maze, and I had known about that from before, but I'd never tried it until this time. 





迷路を解くのが好きなめいなので、本物の迷路だと喜ぶかなぁと思ったんです。
I thought that it would be a great idea to do the real maze with May-chan since she'd been into solving mazes on paper.

6種類の魚の看板を全て探してゴールに出られるとクリア！
and needed to find 6 different kinds of fish like this. 

 

 

方向音痴のHit-chanと5歳児なので、6種類の魚を全て見つけるのに結構苦労したんですが。。。
The team of the 5 year-old girl and me who's very bad at directions in general had a hard time to find all the 6 fish signs, but...

 

 

 

最後は上から見ていたAndyっちにゴールへの行き方を教えてもらい、無事クリア！
we're guided by Andy who's standing on the patio over the maze at last and could reach the goal!!

 

 

 

クリアしたら、レジの所で賞品をもらい、初挑戦の迷路は無事終了。
We could get a prize at the casher and finished our very first maze well. 

 

 

 

めいさん、もっと喜んでくれるかなぁと思ったのですが、途中の行き止まりで出てくるクマとかワニとかビッグフットの看板を見て「こわーい！」と言っていて、まぁまぁの喜びぐらいでした。
I had thought that May-chan would be more excited, but "They're scary!!" she was actually scared of some signs such as bear, alligator or big foot at the dead ends. Still, I'm sude that she had a fun time. 

 

 

 

という感じで、最終日の前半は楽しく過ごす事ができました。
Okay, this is how we had a great time in the first half of the final day!
