さて、今日は日本旅行記第12弾でございます。
Okay, this is vol.12 of the Japan trip diaries.
9月最後の土曜日のこの日、Hit-chanが日本で働いていた頃の先輩お二人、ふじさん＆北澤さんと一緒にランチする約束をしていました。
On the last Saturday of September, May-chan and I had a lunch date with 2 of my ex co-workers and now wonderful friends, Fuji-san&Kitazawa-san.
その先輩お二人とはHit-chanが日本で仕事をしていた時に知り合い、本当に不思議で有難い事なんですが、Hit-chanが仕事を辞めて日本を離れて約10年経った今もこうして仲良くさせていただいています。
I met them through a job that I used to do in Japan, and it's kind of weird but thankful that we've been still very good friends even for 10years after I quit the job and left Japan.
まぁ、Hit-chanが一緒に働いていた時から頼りになるお二人なんですが、今回「ランチデートをしましょう！」とお話した時も、あれよあれよとめいも一緒に行きやすいお店をササっと予約してくれました。（ありがと～！）
They're so relaiable and sweet, which I know it from when I worked with them, but they reminded me of it by perfectly arranging everything for the date even before I asked them to. (Thanks!)
今回お邪魔したきのわさん。
This is the wonderful and kids friendly place that we had the date at. Kinowa
わっぱ飯が有名なお店らしいですが、甘味類も充実していました。
I head that their flavored rice was famous. Plus, they had a good selection of sweets too.
確か3人とも同じのにして、こちらを注文。
I think that we all ordered this same lunch meal.

めいの為に座敷席を予約していてくれて、お店にはめいも座れる椅子が置いてあって助かりました。
（ちなみに真ん中がふじさんで右が北澤さんです。）
Kitazawa-san reserved the room so that May-chan could stay comfortable, and what's nice was that they also had a kid chair too.

簡単にお二人との関係をお話させてもらうと、北澤さんにはHit-chanが新人採用された年に出会い、同じ職場で働く事はなかったものの地域の定例会議で顔を合わせる事があり、そのテキパキ仕事をされる姿に羨望の眼差しを送っていたんですねぇ。(笑)
Let me give you a brief story about our friendships here. I met Kitazawa-san in the 1st year that I got the job, and we actually didn't have a chance to work at a same office. Still, we saw each other at a regular meeting in the area, and I personally respected in her hardworking at lot.
北澤さんとは、Hit-hcanが仕事をしている当時は特にプライベートでの繋がりはなく、仕事を辞めて数年間は連絡先も知らなかったんですが、その後、運良くFacebookで繋がる事ができまして、今の方が仲良くさせてもらっています。
In fact, Kitazawa-san and I didn't have any personal connection back then and even didn't know each other's contact information either for some years after I quit the job. Though, thanks to the mordern technology, I could find and reconnect with her through Facebook at one point, and now we're closer friends.
ふじさんとは同じ職場で働かせてもらい、ちょうどその頃にガンが発覚して休職したんですが、その後の退職も加えて超絶お世話になり、一生頭が上がらない相手でございます。
I worked together with Fuji-san at a same office for a couple of years which included the year that I was diagnosed cancer and underwent the treatment. And, she's one of the people who supported me the most in the very crazy and dramatic period of my life.
そういえば、ふじさんと働いている頃はHit-chanがまだ留学を目指していて、休みの日に英語の試験を受けに行ったりしたんですが、ふじさんはその当時からHit-chanの夢を応援してくれていたお人でもありました。
Back then, I sometimes took an English test on weekend, and she also cheered me up on the tests and wished me to keep following my dream to study in the US too.
そうそう、ふじさんとふじさんの娘さん、Hit-chanとHit-chanの母の4人でアリゾナのセドナに旅行した思い出もあります。（楽しかったなぁ。）
Oh yeah, I just remembererd that Fuji-san&her daughter and my mom&I actually took a very fun trip to Sedona, Arizona together too. (What a great trip it was!)
実は北澤さんとふじさんとは別々にお友達だったんですが、良い感じでHit-chanを通してお二人が繋がりまして、今回こうして3人でランチデートする事になったんです！
I was actually friends with Kitazawa-san and Fuji-san individually first, but they got directly connected through me too, and we finally got a chance to have a date with 3 of us this time!
北澤さんもふじさんも、「お友達になりたかったから嬉しい！」と言ってくれたのですが、大好きなお二人が直接お友達になってくれたという事に関してはHit-chanが一番嬉しかったです。
Both Kitazawa-san and Fuji-san mentioned, "I'm glad to become a friend with her!" but I am the happiest one to see my 2 precious friends get linked directly.
ランチの後「場所を変えてお茶でもしますか？」と提案したんですが、「めいちゃんがいるから、ここでお茶もしたら良いんじゃない？」と言ってくれたので、そのままコーヒーとデザートも同じお店で楽しみました。
After the nice lunch, I suggested, "Should we go somewhere else to get a cup of coffee?" but they nicely recommended, "Why don't we stay here because May-chan's doing well here." So, we enjoyed a cup of coffee and a cake there too.

いやぁ、何度も言いますが、こうやって大好きなお二人と久しぶりにランチデートができて本当に嬉しかったです。
Again, I was very glad that I could have a chance to hang out with 2 of my favorite friends like this.
お二人は現役でバリバリ働いていらっしゃるんですが、Hit-chanが昔やっていた仕事なので、その内容を聞いているだけでも「あ～、懐かしいなぁ。」と楽しかったし、お二人とも自分の好きな事をどんどんやっていらしゃって、その姿にもとっても刺激を受けました。
They still do the same job on full time, which I used to do as well, so it was very fun for me just to listen to stories about their job. Plus the good old memories about the job, the wonderful ladies gave me a lot of inspiration to enjoy my just by showing me that they're fully enjoying anything they love to do.
めいがいると中々ゆっくり話せないのが辛い所ですが、今回はめいを紹介するという旅だったので、とりあえずそこを果たせたのが良かったです。
It was a little bit hard for me to focus on talking to them with May-chan, but the trip itself for introducing May-chan to everybody I love in Japan, so it's great that I could make it happen for sure.
という訳で、今日はこの辺で～！！！

9月最後の土曜日のこの日、Hit-chanが日本で働いていた頃の先輩お二人、ふじさん＆北澤さんと一緒にランチする約束をしていました。
On the last Saturday of September, May-chan and I had a lunch date with 2 of my ex co-workers and now wonderful friends, Fuji-san&Kitazawa-san.
その先輩お二人とはHit-chanが日本で仕事をしていた時に知り合い、本当に不思議で有難い事なんですが、Hit-chanが仕事を辞めて日本を離れて約10年経った今もこうして仲良くさせていただいています。
I met them through a job that I used to do in Japan, and it's kind of weird but thankful that we've been still very good friends even for 10years after I quit the job and left Japan.
まぁ、Hit-chanが一緒に働いていた時から頼りになるお二人なんですが、今回「ランチデートをしましょう！」とお話した時も、あれよあれよとめいも一緒に行きやすいお店をササっと予約してくれました。（ありがと～！）

いやぁ、何度も言いますが、こうやって大好きなお二人と久しぶりにランチデートができて本当に嬉しかったです。

お二人は現役でバリバリ働いていらっしゃるんですが、Hit-chanが昔やっていた仕事なので、その内容を聞いているだけでも「あ～、懐かしいなぁ。」と楽しかったし、お二人とも自分の好きな事をどんどんやっていらしゃって、その姿にもとっても刺激を受けました。
