It's Hit-chan.
日本から帰って来てから、時差ぼけやら疲労やらで、変な睡眠サイクルでしばらく生活してたんですが、ここ最近になってようやく目覚めがスッキリするようになってきました。(笑)
I was having every day in a weird time cycle for a while after I came back from Japan, but finally, I've come to be able to feel refreshed when I wake up lately.
さて、今日も帰国の話の続きです。
Okay now, I'd love to talk about the trip again.
Hit-chanが日本を離れた3年半前、親友のあきさんはまだ独身で実家暮らしでございました。
When I left Japan 3 and a half years ago, my best friend, Aki, was still single and living at her parents'.
で、この3年半の間に、現在の旦那様である新ちゃんと結婚し、マイホームを購入したんですね。
Through the 3 and a half years, she got married to Shin-chan and they became home owners.
あきさんのマイホーム。初めて見ましたが、立派なお家です。
This is their house. I'd never seen it, but it's a really nice house.
あきさんが腕によりをかけて作ってくれた豪華な夕食です。
Aki cooked special dinner for me.
かいわれはHit-chanのリクエストで入れてもらいました。
I asked her to get some Daikon sprouts for me.
やっぱり、新鮮なお魚が食べられるのは本当に贅沢です。
Totally, it's so special and lucky that you can eat such fresh seafood.
あきさん、出し巻まで作ってくれました。
She made Dashi-maki which is rolled egg as well.
その後、新ちゃんもお仕事から帰って来て、皆で夕食を食べる事になりました。
After Shin-chan came home from work, we started the gorgeous dinner together.
あきさんの旦那様、新ちゃんとは、Hit-chanが日本を発つ日に空港まで見送りに来てもらった時にしか話したことが無かったんですが、その柔らかくてひょうきんな人柄に、緊張する事もなく自然と打ち解ける事ができました。
I'd actually talked to Shin-chan only once before when they kindly came to see me leaving Japan at the airport, but I didn't get nervous at all thanks to his very friendly and fun personality.

美味しいご飯の後は、ミネソタから持ってきたお土産を渡すことに。。。
After the delicious dinner, I handed some stuff from MN to them...
カリブーのコーヒーマグとか、Tシャツとか。サイズもピッタリで良かったです。
A mug of Caribou coffee and T-shirts etc... I'm so glad the T-shirts fit them so perfectly.
そして、二人からもお返しをいただきました。色々な味のかりんとうでした。
And they actually game me a gift too. It's a Japanese candy called Karintou which is fried dough coated with sugar sauce.
で、食後のデザートには。。。
We also had a dessert.
雪見だいふくのクッキー＆クリーム味！
It's Mochi ice cream, cookies and cream flavor!
もちろん、美味しかったです！！！
Needles to say, it was delicious!
食後はですねぇ、あきさん＆新ちゃん宅の素敵なお風呂に入らせてもらいました。
After the nice dinner, they let me take a nice bath.
見て、TVまでついてるのよ！
Here's their bath room. Look! There's TV too!
普段は、ユニットバスの浅～いバスタブに浸かっているHit-chan。
Usually, I soak in a shallow bath tub in MN.
久しぶりに肩まで疲れ、しかもTVまで見られて極楽、極楽でございました。
I could soak up to my shoulders in this bath tub as watching TV, so the relaxing time couldn't be better.
という訳で、あきさん家にお泊り1日目はこんな風に過ぎていきました。
So, this is all about the 1st day at Aki's house.
