棚卸し (A Lunch Before Inventory)

皆様、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How's it going?





現在、Hit-chanのボスでもあり、大事な友達でもあるキャットはデトロイトに2週間出張に行っております。
Now, my boss and lovely friend, Kat is gone to Detroit for a business trip for 2 weeks.





出張に行く前日、棚卸しがあるという事で、お手伝いしに行きました。
On the day before she left MN, I helped her doing inventory.




ただ、お腹が減っては戦はできぬというもので、作業の前に一緒にランチに行きました。
Before we started working, we had a lunch together.





外が寒いもので、陽が当たる席が嬉しいですなぁ。
It's so chilly out, so we loved the table in the sunshine.










Hit-chanはワイルドライススープと（ワイルドライスは確か、ミネソタの特産品だった気が。。。）
I ordered wildrice soup and...(Wildrice is a MN local product..., right?)

この日は二人で開店準備をして、1時まで一緒のシフト。
We actually had an open shift that day and already worked till 1 together.





キャットは翌日早朝のフライトだったので、いつもより早めの時間に作業を始めたんです。
Kat was going to take an early flight the next day, so we started inventry earlier than usual.





無事、6時過ぎには作業を終える事ができました。
Thankfully, we could get everything done after 6pm.





さすがに、この日は計10時間以上、ほぼ立ち仕事をしたので少し疲れましたが、後半はいつもと違う仕事内容だったので結構楽しかったです。
We both worked over 10 hours as standing almost all day and got pretty tired, but I could enjoy something not usual still.





キャットが出張に出てからは、他のお店のヘルプを借りながら、残ったメンバーでお店を円滑に営業できるように頑張っております。
Since Kat's gone out of town, the rest of our members is trying hard to run our store well with some support from other stores.





とは言っても、やっぱり愛すべきリーダーがいないお店は心許ないもので、早く帰ってきて欲しいものです。
Still, we're missing our reliable and loving boss, so I want her back soon.





残り、まだ一週間以上ありますが、キャットが帰ってくるまで、皆と力を合わせてお店をちゃんと回していきたいと思います。
We still have more than one week untill Kat's back to town, but I want to keep working hard to keep the store fine together with other members.
