ダルースへの旅?(The trip to Duluth. Vol.3)

皆さん、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？
How's it going?




先日、Andyっちが一日がかりでガレージの中にある荷物を片付けてくれまして、遂に車をガレージに停められるようになりました！
A few days ago, Andy worked so hard cleaning up our garage and we finally can park our cars in the garage now.





ただ、新居のガレージは前の家よりも狭いので、車から出る時にいつも体をくねらせて降りなければいけないんです。
Our new garage is a little bit smaller than the old one, so I have to contort my body to get out of my car though.



とにかく、Hit-chan、ガレージ掃除に関しては全然働かなかったので、何かお礼をしなくちゃなぁと思っている次第です。（笑）
Since I didn't help Andy clean the garage at all, I'm thinking to get him something with my gratitude now. Hehe.





さて、今日もダルースの旅、第3弾行ってみたいと思います。
So also today, I'll write about the trip to Duluth.





楽しくピクニックを終えた後、来た道をまた戻りまして、車で灯台に向かいました。
After we enjoyed the picnic, we walked back on the way we came from and went to the lighthouse by car.






本当、素敵な場所でした。
It was a really nice place.





これが灯台。
This is the lighthouse.




記念写真。エネルギーが尽きたのでジャンプはなし。笑
The light house and me. I used almost of all my energy at the time, so didn't jump at all. Hehe.










受付の所にあったボードでお決まりの。笑
（ただ、もっと引いて撮って欲しかったけど、何回もボードに顔をはめるのが恥ずかしかったのでパス。）
Near the ticket counter, I found the board, so...
(I wanted Andy to focus on the entire board, but it was too embarrassing for me to put my face on the board over and over, so I didn't ask him to.)





資料館にはレゴで作られた灯台が。
At the museum, there was the lighthouse made with Lego.





で、やっとこさ灯台の中に。。。
And finally, we got into the light house.





灯台の頂上の部屋はとっても狭くて、写真は階段で撮るのが精一杯でした。
The room on the top was so tight and small, so I barely took a pictures on the stairs.









で、灯台の外に出て、そこから湖を眺めるとこんな感じ。
Outside of the light house, you can see this view.










で、下を覗くと。。。
And when you look down...





結構怖いよ。笑
you can see this. It's pretty scary. Hehe.





で、灯台の横には当時の管理人さんの家がありました。
There was a keeper's house of the old time by the lighthouse.

トイレは紐を引いて流すタイプのやつ。
You pull the rope to flash the toilet.





キッチンは畳一畳くらいの狭さでしたよ。
The kitchen space was so tiny and it's about 4x6 feet.





Andyっちに、「料理してるみたいにして。」と頼んで、このポーズ。笑
I asked Andy, "Pretend to be cooking!" and he kindly did it.






リビングには昔の電話が。
（となりのトトロを見たばっかりだったんで、「あっ、さつきちゃんが借りてかけてたやつと一緒や～。」とテンション上がりました。）

という訳で、今回行ったこの場所、Split Rock Lighthouse State Park、めちゃくちゃ楽しみました。
So, like this, we had a really wonderful time at Split Rock Lighthouse State Park.




で、この後この日泊まる宿に向かいました。
And then, we headed to a hotel we're going to stay at the night.
