How are you doing today?
さて、Hit-chanの4か月に及ぶ日本滞在ですが、お陰様であと2日で終わりを迎えます。
So, my 4 month stay in Japan is ending just in 2 days.
今回の滞在で、本当にたくさんの方の優しさに触れ、Andyっち共々素晴らしい思い出を作る事ができました。
On this long trip, Andy and I could make a lot of fun and precious memories thanks to everyone here.
この場を借りて、改めてありがとうございました

さて、その素敵な思い出の記録ですが、まだもう少し残っているので引き続き書いていきたいと思います。
I still have some more pictures of our memories unwritten here, so I'd love to keep sharing them with you here.
これはAndyっちがもうミネソタに帰る10日ほど前の4月2日、「帰るまでにやろう。」と言ってた事をしに行きました。
This is about April 2nd, 10 days before Andy left Japan, and we did something that we'd wanted to do before Andy went back to MN.
そのやりたかった事って言うのが。。。。
The plan was actually
京都タワーに上ること。
going up to the top of Kyoto tower.
というのも、Andyっち、巨大でモダンな京都駅全体の写真を撮ってみたかったらしいです。
Andy wanted to take a picture of the entire figure of the giant modern architecture, Kyoto station.
やっぱりタワーに上るのはお天気の良い日にするべきだと思い、ちょうどこの日は素晴らしいお天気に恵まれたので計画を決行する事にしたのです。
We were going to do it on a sunny day for sure and the weather was wonderful that day, so we decided to carry it out.
入場券は大人一人770円でございました。
The ticket was about $8 for one adult.
この頃の京都、どこも混んでいたんですが、展望台はそれ程でもなかったです。
Kyoto was super busy everywhere around that season, but luckily, the observation deck was not that crowded.
Andyっちが撮りたかった京都駅、タワーに上っても全体像を捉えるのはできなかったです。
I tried to capture the entire building of Kyoto station, but it's still pretty hard even from the deck.
京都駅のJR側入り口。人がちっちゃい！！
This is the JR entrance. The people looked so tiny!!!!
で、京都駅に来たので、タワーを下りた後はAndyっちのお気に入りのアイリッシュパブ、Man In The Moonに行きました。
After we enjoyed the view from the tower, we headed to Andy's favorite Irish bar, Man In The Moon.
嬉しそう。(笑)
He looks so happy. Haha.
Hit-chanはフィッシュ＆チップスを。
I got the Fish&Chips.
Andyっちはミックスピザ。
Andy got this pizza.
Hit-chan、京都出身でミネソタに引っ越すまでの26年間京都にいましたが、今回でタワーに上るのは2回目でした。
I grew up in Kyoto and lived there for 26years until I moved to MN, but that was my 2nd time to go up to the deck of Kyoto tower.
今回は、Andyっちも京都のシンボルタワーに上る事ができたので良かったです！
I'm glad that Andy got a chance to see the nice view from the top of the tower this time.
