さて、日本旅行４日目です。
This is about the day 4 of the Japan trip.
この日は東京最終日、京都への移動の日でした。
On that day, we were going to leave Tokyo for Kyoto.
東京に着いてから３日間、結構ハードで盛りだくさんな毎日を過ごしていたんで、AndyっちもHit-chanも結構疲れていたんですが、今回の日本旅行でどうしても行きたかった場所の一つに行って来ました。
Since we got to Tokyo, we had very busy 3 days and we both were so tired, but we couldn't miss this place for sure.
朝、ホテルを出て東京駅で大きなスーツケースを二つ預けまして。。。
We left the hotel in the morning and dropped off our 2 big suit cases at Tokyo station and headed...
ここ、行ってきたのは三鷹の森美術館でございます。
Here! This is Ghibli museum!
館内は写真撮影NGだったので、Andyっちが外で並んでいる間に撮ったこの写真のみです。
We're not allowed to take pictures inside the building, so that's the only picture from outside.
で、感想ですが、とっても楽しかったですよ～。
We really loved it!
入場者数を制限されているというものの結構人はたくさんいたのですが、写真撮影NGもあってか、時間をかけてゆっくり観る事ができました。
They actually limit the entry numbers so that you can enjoy the exhibition well, but it was still pretty crowded inside. Still, the no-photo rule let us have much time enough for everybody to enjoy every single of their beautiful art works.
で、ジブリ魂をたっぷり楽しんだ後、東京駅に戻りまして。。。
After we had much fun with Ghibli spirit, we headed back to Tokyo station and...
Hit-chanの故郷、京都へ出発！！！
left for my hometown, Kyoto!!!
Hit-chanはやっぱり、駅弁！ほんま、日本では旨いものが簡単に手に入るねぇ。
Yeah, I really wanted to get a bento-box at the station. It's so easy to get something delicious in Japan.
Andyっちはしばらく禁ビールをしていたので、久しぶりに一杯、いや二杯、いや、三杯。(笑)
Andy was holding off his favorite drink, beer for a while, so he finally let himself to get one, no, 2, yeah 3 canned beers then.
ベイビーちゃん達も初新幹線。
Yup, Shinkansen (bullet train) is also the first experience to our babies.
３時間ほどで無事、京都到着。
By 3 hour ride, we safely got to Kyoto station.
今回、京都駅すぐの所のウィークリーマンションを借りたんですが、契約の手続き等、ほとんどを母がしてくれました。
We actually rented a weekly apartment near Kyoto station and my mom kindly did most of the document and contract things for us.
その母と京都駅でHit-chanは２年ぶり、Andyっちは結婚式ぶりなので５年ぶりに再会しました。
We met up with my mom at Kyoto station and that was the reunion after 2 years for me and 5 years to Andy.
母が事前にアパートを下見しておいてくれたので、母に案内してもらってアパートまで行きました。
My mom already looked at the apartment location, so she navigated us there.
汚いけど、こんな部屋でした。
It's messy, but the room was like this.
ちなみに、東京では築地市場の見学ツアーをメインに、ロケーションだけでホテルを選んだんですが、その部屋がめちゃくちゃ狭くて、少しストレスが溜まってたんですよ。
By the way, we chose the hotel in Tokyo just by the convenient location for the Tsukiji market tour, but the room was super small and we both were kind of frustrated.
なので、今回のアパートは結構広かったので、Andyっちもホッとしていました。
So, Andy was so happy to see the room was spacious enough.
で、その後、妹ツインズ達とも合流して。。。
After we dropped off our suitcases at the room, my twin little sisters joined us.
京都での初晩餐。Hit-chanはもちろんたこ焼き！
This is the first feast in Kyoto. Yup, I got my favorite food, Takoyaki!
妹スイッチは韓国ごはん
Switch got Korean food.
妹スカッチは皿うどん
Skatch had fried noodles with stir-fried veggies.
母は餃子を頼んで皆で分けて食べました。全部母のおごりでした。ありがと！
Mom got some pot-stickers and we shared all the food together. All the food was on mom. Thanks!
アパートの件、本当にお世話になりました！
Thank you for taking care of the apartment contract too!
京都一日目はこうやって過ぎて行きました。。。
Okay, this is how our 1st day in Kyoto went.
