さて、今日は日本旅行第8弾です。
Okay, I want to write about the day 8 of the Japan trip today.
この日は朝早めに起きました。
We woke up early that morning.
日本の新幹線のホーム、綺麗ですよねぇ。
The shinkansen station is always so clean.
で、新幹線に乗って、行って来ました。
And we took a shinkansen to...
広島にあるマツダの本社です。
the headquarter of Mazda in Hiroshima.
事前に見学ツアーに申し込んでいたので、受付をしてから、見学開始までロビーで待ちました。
I applied for the English tour beforehand, so we checked in at the front desk and waited for the starting time at the lobby.
で、ロビーが超豪華。
The lobby is so gorgeous!
やっぱ、乗っちゃうよね。(笑)
Yeah, you can't help getting on it.
無料で写せるプリクラみたいな機械があったので、もちろん撮りました。
They had a complimentary instant picture machine and of course we took a couple.
で、時間が来たらバスに乗って、見学場所に出発。
When the time came, we all headed to the exhibition building by bus.
広島のマツダの工場、一つの町くらいの大きさです。
Their Hiroshima plant is so huge like a town.
中には、マツダ所有の消防車や救急車、マツダ専用の橋、港などなどがあって、凄い規模でした。
They even have their own fire truck, ambulance, bridge and port.

で、今回の日本旅行でマツダ本社にお邪魔して見学させてもらうと決めてから、Andyっち、ぜひともこれを持って行きたいと言って持って行った物。。。
Since we decided to go to Mazda headquarter in Japan, Andy'd wanted to bring something and show them it.
そう、ブラッド君もAndyっちもパパも、マツダに乗っているので、ぜひとも3人＆3台で写真を撮って、マツダ本社の皆さんに見てもらいたいと。。。
Yes, this pic. He wanted to show Mazda people that his brother, his dad and himself love Mazda and own Mazda Speed3.
でね、見学が終わってどなたにこの写真をお渡しするべきか、Andyっち共々ソワソワしてたんですが、やっぱり受付のお姉さんに渡すのが一番簡単だと言う事に。
Though, we're a little bit feeling awkward because we both didn't know who we're supposed to give this picture to at the office, but we thought that the lady at the front desk would be the best.
で、やっぱり、Andyっち、Hit-chanに事の成り行きをお姉さんに説明してもらいたいとの事で、Hit-chan、変な人に思われないか言葉を選びながら、
This was what Andy wanted, but he wanted me to explain all the things to the lady, so I carefully picked up words that should sound not too weird.
「あのー、うちの夫がこの写真をぜひともマツダの皆様にお見せしたいと言いまして。。。親子2代で3台マツダを愛用しています。アメリカのミネソタにもマツダのファンがいる事をお伝えしたくって、皆さんにお見せしていただけると有難いです。」
"Excuse me. Oh well, my husband wants to give this picture to staff here. Actually, 2 generations in his family owns 3 Mazda cars and we're living in MN, USA and his dad, brother and himself are big fans of your company, so if you could show this picture and send this message to the staff in this office, that'd be so appreciated."
と言うと、お姉さん、驚きながらも
Then, the lady seemed a little bit surprised, but nicely said
「この写真、いただいてよろしいのでしょうか？ありがとうございます！ぜひ、社員の者に届けさせていただきます。」
"Can I keep this picture? Thank you so much! I'll send this our staff for sure."
と言っていただき、Hit-chanもAndyっちもホッとしました。
Both I and Andy got happy and relieved.
広島編、少し長くなるので続きは次回で。。。
The day trip to Hiroshima continues a little bit more, but I want to write the rest on the next article.
