さて、タイトルの通りなんですが、Hit-chan、また副鼻腔炎になってしまいました
So, as the title just said, I got sinus infection again. (Dang!)
前回酷い副鼻腔炎になったのは昨年の9月頃。
This is the article about when I got sinus infection last September.
で、今回はそこまで酷くなかったんですが、春になってしばらく花粉症でくしゃみ＆鼻水ダラダラ生活をしていたら、とうとうある日、両目の裏側や頬骨の裏側辺りが痛く重くなってきて、「あ、副鼻腔炎になった。」とハッキリ自覚しました。
Thankfully, this time wasn't as awful as last September, but as I had been dealing with all the symptoms from pollen allergy for a while in this spring, I ended up getting the symptoms such us soreness/pain and heaviness in the back of my eyes or cheeks which made me surely realize, "Oh well, I got sinus infection again."

Okay, I'll share some pictures of May-chan which don't have anything to do with the today's topic here. This is when she started drawing right after she got up in the morning.
上手にノンタン書いてました。
She drew the kitty character very well on her own again.
で、前回副鼻腔炎になった時は本当に酷くて、鼻や目の奥の痛みに加えて発熱までしてしまいました。
Anyways, I struggled with some terrible symptoms when I got sinus infection last September and I had to be in bed all day because of the heavy pain in the back of my eyes and nose plus fever then.
今回はそれに比べれば随分とマシなんですが、以前のように酷くなってはダメだとAndyっちが早めに病院へビデオ診察の予約を入れてくれました。
This time was much easier than the last time, but Andy kindly made an appointment for a video call with a doctor before I'd get any worse.
実を言うとね、少し汚い話ではあるんですが、前回の副鼻腔炎になって抗生物質を処方してもらいほとんどの症状が回復した中、半年以上たった現在もまだ左の鼻から黄色い鼻水が出続けていたんです。
Okay, let me share something not fun but sort of important and private here with you guys. When I got sinus infection last September, I took antibiotics for 2 weeks, which healed every bad symptom that I'd had except for yellow snot. I've actually kept getting yellow snot from the left side of my nose everyday for more than 6 months still.
その事もあり、今回また副鼻腔炎の症状が出始めて右側の鼻からも黄色い鼻水が出始めたので、とりあえず早めに一度お医者さんに話を聞きたいと思ったんですね。
Yeah, besides the fact that I was still getting yellow snot everyday, I started getting yellow snot from the right side of my nose as well, so I'd really want to ask a doctor about it before the infection would got very bad this time.
この日は、夜寝る前にもお絵描きしたいと言っていっぱいりんごを描いてました。最近本当にお絵描きブームきてます。
May-chan's been really into drawing these days. She wanted to draw before she went to bed that night and drew many apples.
で、前回の副鼻腔炎の時は今回よりもかなり酷い症状だったのに、ビデオ診察してくれたお医者さんは「とりあえずコロナの検査をして、あと10日様子をみましょう。」というアドバイスだけで、処方箋は出してもらえませんでした。
（結果、Andyっちが見かねて、もう一度オンラインで質問を答える方法の診察をしてくれて、やっと抗生物質とスプレータイプの鼻炎薬を処方してもらえました。）
So, on the video call with a doctor last September, even though my symptoms were very bad and I felt really sick, all he told me was, "Let's do a test for COVID-19 to make sure you haven't got COVID and see how you'd be feeling for 10days." which means that I didn't get any medication for my sinus infection symptoms.
(After all, Andy felt really bad for me and did online examination with a different doctor right after the video call and thanks to that, I could get the prescription for antibiotics and nasal spray.)
今回は前回と違う先生でアジア系の女性の先生だったんですが、前回とは違い、的確にこちらの言う辛い症状をすぐに理解してくれて、すぐに抗生物質と花粉症対策にスプレータイプのステロイドが入っている鼻炎薬を処方してくれ、これからのアレルギーの季節においての対処法なども丁寧に説明してくれたのでかなり満足の診察でした。
Anyways, this time I saw a different doctor from the last video call, who was an Asian female doctor, and the video call with her went really well. She understood exactly what I wanted to tell her and prescribed antibiotics and a nasal spray including steroid for runny nose from pollen allergy. Plus, she explained a way to prevent me from getting sinus infection from allergy reaction in the future. So, in a word, I really liked her and the video call this time.
最近はお外でもお絵描きをしております。
May-chan enjoys drawing outside lately too.
チョークで色んな所にお絵描きするので、家の周りはめい画伯の作品が溢れています。(笑)
She draws everywhere around the house with chalks, so our house's now surrounded with a lot of her works. LOL
今回は先生が教えてくださった通り、鼻うがいをしっかりして、処方してもらった抗生物質を飲み、鼻炎薬や市販の花粉症の薬を取ったりして1週間過ごしたところ、目の奥や頬骨の奥の痛みは無くなり、半年以上続いていた左側からの黄色い鼻水は消えました。
Following the advice from the doctor, I took the antibiotics and used the nasal spray on top of taking allergy pills and doing nasal rinse for a week, all the pain in the back of my eyes and cheeks were completely gone. As for the yellow snot issue, getting it from the left side of my nose has been stopped.
ただ、まだ右側から黄色い鼻水は出続けているので、毎日しっかり鼻うがいをしてしばらく様子をみていきたいと思います。（先生曰く、副鼻腔炎が治っても黄色い鼻水がでる可能性はあるとの事だったので。）
Still, I've been getting it from the right side of my nose, so I'm going to keep doing nasal rinse everyday and see how it'll go. (The doctor said that you might still get yellow snot for a while even after sinus infection is healed.)
今も変わらず絵の具熱も冷めておりません。
May-chan's been still passionate in paint as well.
まぁ、そんな訳で、花粉症からの副鼻腔炎という経緯だったんですが、お陰様で今回は前回のように重症化せずに回復する事ができました。
Okay, it was not a fun topic to talk about today, but thanks to the doctor and Andy, I got recovered from the sinus infection before it'd got terrible this time.
