How are you doing today?
さて、2月12日はですねぇ、Hit-chanの父の記念すべき誕生日でした。
February 12th was actually my dad's birthday.
なので、実家に行って参りました。
So, Andy and I visited my parents' house.
電車とバスを乗り継いで、バスを待っている間暇だったので、意味なくセルフィ―。
We're being a little bit bored of waiting for the bus, so took this selfie.
Andyっち、バスの中から見える景色も熱心に写真に撮っていたよ。
The scenery from the bus window was nothing special to me, but Andy was so interested in it and took a lot of pictures on the bus too.
で、無事に実家に到着。
Here we are!
この日は、両親、妹2のスカッチと彼氏のNさん、私達でした。
To celebrate my dad's BD, my parents, us and my sister2, Skatch and her boyfriend, N-san gathered.
バースデーディナーは簡単に宅配ピザ。
We just ordered a couple of pizza for dinner.
美味しかったですよ～。
They were pretty good.
Andyっちは実家に2匹いる猫のうちのミューちゃんと戯れてました。
My parents own 2 black cats and Andy was playing with Myu-chan.
で、バースデーと言えば、バースデーケーキ。
Speaking of birthday, you need a birthday cake!
ちょうどHit-chanとAndyっちは、高島屋の近くのアパートに滞在しているので、ケーキ調達のお役目を請け負いました。
Andy and I are staying at an apartment in the city area, so we were in charge of getting birthday cakes for dad.
シンプルなショートケーキと。。。
We got this simple short cake and...
ラズベリーソースが入ったチョコレートケーキ。
this chocolate cake with raspberry sauce.
どっちも美味しくて、皆にも好評でした。良かったぜ！
Both were tasty and everybody loved them.
そうそう、ミネソタから父へのプレゼントも持ってきていたので。。。
Of course, we got some presents for him all the way from MN.
ハッピバースデートゥーユー （フラッシュ焚くと、ミューちゃんの目が怖いぜ。笑）
Happy Birthday To You! (I took the pic with the flash. Then, Myu-chan's eyes looked so scary!)
プレゼントは、ジャケット、手袋、帽子の防寒セット。
We gave him a jacket, gloves and a hat.
防寒物ならミネソタは強いでね。(笑)
Yeah, we're from MN and good at that winter stuff.
通勤に自転車を使っている父なので、喜んでくれました。
He goes to work by bike, so he really loved them!
皆集まっているので、Unoをしたんですが、これがめっちゃ面白かった～。
We have many people together, so we played Uno! It was super fun!
You have to yell "Space, the final UNO frontier!" instead of saying just "UNO". LOL
最後に記念撮影！

ミネソタのパパママとは毎年一緒にお誕生日を祝っているんですが、日本の両親とはなかなか一緒に祝う事ができません。
We celebrate Andy's dad&mom's birthdays togehter most of the time, but we can't do the same thing with my parents.
今回の滞在中に両親共に誕生日を迎えるので、こうやってAndyっちも一緒に両親の誕生日を祝う事ができるのが本当に嬉しいです。
When we planned this trip and realized that both of my parents are going to have their BDs while we're in Japan, Andy and I were both so excited to celebrate their BDs together with them.
3月には母の誕生日もあるので、こうやって一緒にお祝いできるのを楽しみにしてます！
My mom's birthday in March, so I'm also looking forward to spending the day with her this year.
おめでとー、お父さん。
