How's your day going today?
さて、今日もパパママの家にお泊りした時の様子をお届けしたいと思います。
Okay, today I want to write about Day 3 at Dad&Mom's house.
3日目の朝。
In the 3rd morning at Dad&Mom's house.
パパママの新居のリビングにある大きな窓からの景色は最高。雪景色と朝日のコントラストが綺麗。
The view from the big windows in the living room is always super gorgeous. The contrast of the snow and the sunrise was just beautiful.
朝7時頃の景色。
The view around 7am.
ミネソタに来て、カリブーで朝シフト中心で働いていた時、太陽の偉大さを知ったHit-chan。そんな事を思い出させてくれた朝の景色でした。
（太陽って本当に明るいし暖かいよね？From雪国）
I actually have appreciated the greatness of the sun more since I moved to Japan and had experience to work on morning shifts at Caribou coffee. So, this beautiful view made me recall how great the sun was.
(The sun is really bright and warm, isn't it? From snow land.)
この人は朝から元気元気。Hit-chanは根っからのスロースターターなので、この人に付いて行くのが大変。
This little one was full of energy in the morning. I'm such a slow starter by nature, so I always have a hard time to catch up with her in the beginning of a day.
この日の朝ご飯はヨーグルト。プレーンヨーグルトにベリーのジャムを混ぜて。10ペロくらい完食。
（この前の週まではヨーグルトめちゃくちゃ食べてくれたのに、この週に入って食べてくれなくなった。）
The breakfast for her was yogurt. I mixed plain yogurt and berry jam. She only licked 10 times or so and finished her breakfast.
(She had loved yogurt until the week before, but quit liking it that week.)
お昼ぐらいになって、ダディがちょこっとお出かけするとの事で便乗。
Around lunch time, Andy wanted to take a quick trip, so May-chan and I joined him.
仕事の休憩時間にランチを買いに来たのだよ。
He wanted to grab lunch during his lunch break.
助手席から取ったから分かりにくいけど、Dairy Queenっていう基本アイスクリーム屋さん、でもバーガーとかホットドックも売ってるよっていうファーストフードチェーン店。
I took this pic from the passenger seat and it's kind of hard to see the sign, but it's DQ. They're an ice cream shop, but sell burgers or hotdogs too.
最近何故かアイスをずっと食べたかったHit-chan。渡りに船でソフトクリームをゲット。
（ミネソタ基準でいくと、この日はアイスクリームも食べたくなっちゃうくらいの暖かい日でした。）
I don't know why, but I'd been craving for ice cream for a while, so it was a perfect timing.
(In MN standard, it was warm enough to eat ice cream that day.)
この短いドライブ中に寝落ちしためいさん。
It was a very quick trip, but May-chan fell asleep in the car.
パパママ宅に戻って、Andyっちがリビングに寝かせたらしばらくこの格好で寝てました。(笑)
We went back to Dad&Mom's house and Andy put her down on the floor. Then, she was sleeping in this odd position for a while. Haha.
午後になって外遊び。
We played outside in the afternoon.
途中、いつものように道端に座って雪を堪能。
She sat down on the ground and started eating snow just as usual.
帰り道。
On the way back home.
よく見て。
Look closer!
雪食べながら歩いてるよ！お金のかからない買い食いみたいな？どんなけ雪食べんの好きなんでしょう。
She's walking as eating the chunk of snow! It's very cheap eating out, but how come she loves snow a lot.
最初の頃はね、雪を食べようとすると止めていたんですがね、もう止めても止めても食べ続けるので、Hit-chanは諦めました。
（最近はもう綺麗な雪ならOKと放任してます。）
I used to try to make her stop eating snow before, but I gave up because she still kept eating it anyways.
(Lately I let her eat it as far as the snow seems clean.)
パパママ宅でのお気に入りの遊びは、この地下に続く階段にピンポン玉みたいなのを投げて眺め。。。
Inside the house, May-chan's favorite play threw plastic balls to the stairs and watched them rolling down.
下りて取りに行くっていうのを何度も繰り返していました。良い運動になるね。
Then, she went down to pick them up and came back. It was a good exercise.
この日の晩御飯もまたママが作ってくれました。（作ってもらって食べるだけって楽～！感謝）
Mom kindly cooked for us that ngiht again. (It's so easy and spoiling that all I needed to do was just sit and eat. Big Thanks!)
この日はチキンのパリパリ焼き（勝手に命名）とポテトグラタン、ブロッコリー＆チーズソースでした。美味しかった！
The dinner was sauté crispy chicken, potato gratin and broccoli with cheese sauce. It was delicious!
夕食後は各々好きな事をして過ごすんですが、グランマが喜んでめいに本を読んでくれるので本当に有難かったです。
We enjoyed whatever we individually wanted to do after dinner, but Mom kindly read books for May-chan.
と、こんな感じで3日目も平和に過ぎていきました。
Okay, this is all about how we peacefully spent the 3rd day at Dad&Mom's house.
