How is your day going?
Hit-chanはミネソタの乾燥と戦っております。
Me? I've been fighting against MN dry air lately.
起きている時は大丈夫なのですが、やはり眠っている時にはちゃんと対応できないので、朝起きると鼻と口の中がカラカラになったりします。
It's not a big deal while I'm awake, but I can't take care of it while I'm sleeping and my throat and nose get super dry and sore when I wake up every morning.
Andyっちがカビが生えるとかなんとか言って加湿器反対派なんですが、さすがにミネソタの安物マスクとかではもう対応できなかったりするので「家がやられる前にHit-chanの鼻と喉がやられてしまう。」と言って、加湿器の導入をお願いしました。(笑)
Andy doesn't like use a humidifier since too much moisture ruins the house and produce mold too. That's why I've been taking care of it by wearing a mask overnight, but American cheap masks can't help anymore! So, I said "Before the house get's ruined, my nose and throat will be ruined first!!!" and I asked Andy to give me a permit for a humidifier.
普段あまりモノをお願いする事のないHit-chanが頼んでいるので、よっぽどだと思いAndyっちも購入に賛成してくれました。
I actually don't ask Andy for a material thing so much, so I assume that Andy thought it's a really big deal for me and agreed to purchase a humidifier for me.
さて、今日もクリスマスのお話です。
Okay, the topic is changed and I want to talk about my 2016 Christmas again.
クリスマスイブは4時までカリブーで働いて、仕事場にAndyっちが迎えに来てくれたので、そのままパパママの家に向かいました。
On Christmas eve, I worked at Caribou until 4pm and Andy picked me up at work and we headed to Dad&Mom's house directly.
毎年のように、大きなツリーの下にはたくさんのプレゼントが！そこにHit-chan＆Andyっちが持って行ったのとブラッド君が持ってきたのも加わりました。
As always, there are many many presents under the big tree. Plus, Andy&I and Brad added more presents there too.
暖炉にもいつものストッキングがかけられていました。
On the mantle piece, there are also our stockings hung as always.
ちなみにHit-chanのは白いトナカイさんのだよ。アンディっちのに隠されているけどね。(笑)
Mine is the white reindeer one, but Andy's hid it.
あちらこちらにママがクリスマス仕様にデコレーションしてくれてます。
Mom decorated the house in Christmas version and it's always pretty too!

パパからのプレゼント。
Dad!
もちろん、クッキーもスタンバイ。ママの手作りだよ。
Of course, there's a lot of Mom's homemade cookies!
キッチンでは皆それぞれ、小腹が空くとチーズやハムを切って食べたりします。
In the kitchen, you can munch anything like cheese or ham when you get hungry.
で、ちょっとゆっくりしてから、AndyっちとHit-chanは毎年恒例のレイモンド一家のクリスマスイブパーティーに出掛けました。
Andy and I rested a little bit and headed to the annual Raymonds Christmas eve party.
パーティーはキャサリン＆クリスの新居であったんですが、AndyっちとHit-chan、一番乗りだったので、可愛い娘ちゃんのフィオナや赤ちゃんのフレディといっぱい戯れる事ができました。
The party was at Chris&Katherine's new house and we got there first. So, we had much time to play with their lovely daughter, Fiona, and their baby boy, Freddy.
パーティーの写真は無いんですが、レイモンド家の皆と久しぶりに会う事ができて嬉しかったです。
I didn't take any picture of the party, but I'm glad that I could see and chat with the Raymond family.
パーティーは夜遅くまで続いたと思いますが、Hit-chanは基本たくさん知らない人に囲まれるのは苦手なのと、Andyっちもクリスマスの準備でかなり疲れていたので、早めの時間においとましました。
The party mush have continued till late, but I'm basically too shy to be surrounded by lots of strangers and Andy was also exhausted from running around for Christmas chores, so we left the party before it got too late.
そんな訳で、2016年のクリスマスイブはこんな感じでした！
