How are you doing today?
Hit-chan、今日、バースデートリップから帰ってまいりました。
Andy and I just got back home from my BD trip up north today.
旅の方は、今回も思いがけないアクシデントでスタートしましたが、その後は無事ゆっくりバケーションを楽しむ事ができました。
The trip actually started from an unexpected accident, but after that, we could enjoy our vacation overall.
さて、今日からはホリデーシーズンの様子を書いていきたいと思います。
Anyways, I want to start recording about my 2016 holidays from today.
ここ何年か、Hit-chanとお友達のキャット＆ステイシーはホリデーに一緒に食事をしてプレゼント交換するのが恒例になっています。
First off, I want to write about the annual holiday date with my loving friends, Kat&Stacy, which we have a lunch and exchange presents together.
なので、今回もホリデー前に皆で集合！
So, we gathered before Christmas!
仕事場に近い馴染みのレストランで。。。
We met up at a restaurant near my Caribou.
キャットの彼氏、トムもAndyっちと馬が合うので来てくれました。
Kat's boyfriend, Tom joined us since Andy came along with me and they're good friends too.
Hit-chanからいつもお世話になっている二人へ、日本で買った特別なプレゼントを。
This year, I got a special gift for both of them in Japan.
二人とも喜んでくれた～！
Yay! I could make them both surprised and pleased!
送ったのは名前入りの包丁
The gift is a Japanese knife with their names on it.
菊一文字さんで購入し、名入れをしてもらいました。
This is the picture of him curving their names on the knives.
お風呂好きのHit-chanにぴったりのプレゼントもいただきました！
Kat gave me this LUSH gift box which is perfect to me, a big bath lover!
Andyっちもトムから、”The Meat"という肉好きにばっちりのレシピ本をもらいました。
Andy got a present from Tom and that was a recipe book "The Meat" which of course is perfect to Andy, a big meat lover!
Andyっちからトムへは。。。
Andy also got a present back to Tom and that was...
ビール好き同士には分かる、レア？なビールです。Hit-chanは詳しくわかりませんが、二人にはその価値が分かるようです。(笑)
a beer! I don't know much about the beer, but they both are big beer lovers and know how valuable the brand is.
キャットとステイシーとはカリブーで出会って、こうやってプライベートでも付き合うようになりました。
I met Kat&Stacy at Caribou and built the great friendship with them like this.
二人とは仕事場で会う事もあるし、（現在二人とも違うカリブーのお店で働いていますが。）たまに一緒にランチをしたりする事もあります。
I sometimes see them at work and also hang out outside work as well. (They're working at a different Caribou though.)
ただ、このホリデーのランチデートはHit-chan、改めてこの大切な二人との友情を確認し感謝しあう場であるように感じています。
Still, this holiday date with them is very special to me. It's a very important for me to feel how lucky I am to have them in my life.
今回のホリデーでもこうやって会う事ができ、お互いに大切な存在である事を確かめ合う事ができて嬉しかったです。
I'm so happy that we could have another holiday date this hiliday season and feel how precious our friendship is.
という訳で、Hit-chanの２０１６年ホリデーはこうして素敵に始まりました。
