How are you doing today?
Hit-chanはそれなりに元気に過ごしております。
I'm doing fine.
基本的に毎週火曜日から土曜日に働いているんですが、火曜日が始まると1週間が過ぎるのがあっという間です。
Basically, I work Tuesdays through Saturdays and a week feels passing by so quick once every Tuesday stars.
という訳で、ブログもサボり気味でしたが、今日はマイバースデー（もう既に1か月以上も前の話ですが）を書きたいと思います。
I've been lazy on my blog lately as well, but today, I want to write about my BD which is already more than 1 month ago.
誕生日が近づくにつれて、Andyっちに「誕生日は何をしたい？何を食べたい？」と聞かれ続けてたんですが、
As my BD got closer, Andy kept asking me "Hon, what do you wanna do on your BD? What do you wanna eat?"
特に「これ！」というやりたい事とか食べたい物はなく、悩みに悩んだ挙句、家でインドカレーのお持ち帰りを食べ、レンタルDVDで映画を見る事にしました。
though, I didn't have any particular idea like "I wanna do this!!!" so, after while I kept thinking, I finally decided to take our Indian curry and watch a movie at home.
AndyっちもHit-chanも、当日は働いて、翌日にお休みを取っていたので、当日、カリブーから帰ってきてからお祝いをしました。
Both Andy and I worked on my BD and took a next day off, we celebrated after work.
この日は、リビングに段ボールの簡易テーブルを作って食べる事に。(笑)
I don't remember, but we wanted to eat on a temporary cardboard table in the living room.
久しぶりに食べるインドカレーは予想通り美味しかったです。
I hadn't had it for a while, but as I expected, the Indian food was pretty delicious!
日本にいれば、反対の意味で「あれも、これも食べたい～！！！」とたくさんの選択肢の中から誕生日ディナーを決めるのに悩みそうですが、こちらにいると、少ない選択肢の中から決めるのに苦労します。（汗）
If I were in Japan, I would have a very hard time to decide what I want to eat for my BD dinner like "Mmm... I wanna eat this and this and this..." from tons of options, but it's so hard for me to come up with something here in the other way which means deciding from few options.
で、ご飯を食べた後はプレゼント！
After the special dinner, it's time for a present!

今年は何故かキティちゃんカード。日本ぽかったからかな？
Andy picked up the Hello Kitty card this year. I don't know why, but it's maybe Japanesy?
相変わらずの愛のこもったメッセージが書かれていました。
As always, he gave me a loving message.
で、プレゼント開封。
Then, opened the presents!
大好きなユナイテッドヌードル（アジアンスーパー）のギフトカード。
This is a gift card of United Noodles which is my favorite Asian grocery store.
人生ゲーム（モノポリーも持ってるんだけど、二人だけで遊ぶと激しくつまんないので。笑)
Life game. (We already have Monopoly, but it's too boring to play just with 2 people.)
で、ちなみに着ているセーターもプレゼント。
The sweater I wear is also one of the presents.
プレゼントを開けた後は。。。
After the present time...
じゃじゃ～ん。ケーキタイム。
It's a cake time!!
Andyっちと二人きりじゃそんなに食べられないので、カップケーキにろうそくを立てて完成。
A whole cake is too big for 2 of us to eat, so I just got a cup cake.
願いを込めて、火を吹き消しました。

そんな訳で、今年のバースデーは、Andyっちのママの還暦パーティーもあって二人ともお疲れ気味だったので、ゆっくりのんびりできるプランでしたが、とっても心温まる一日を過ごさせてもらいました。
Since we got back from Mary's 60th BD party the day before and were still tired, it was really nice that we had an easy and cozy but a wonderful BD together.
という訳で、1か月以上前のマイバースデーでした！
Anyways, this is about my BD more than 1 month ago! Hehe.
