昨日、今日と夜シフトで働いたんですが、なぜかなぜか忙しかった！
I worked on night shifts last night and tonight and it was surprisingly pretty busy!
いつもは夜はお客さんが減って、基本片づけ＆掃除を集中してやるんですが、昨日も今日もなぜかお客さんがひっきりなしに来てくれるので、なかなか片づけが出来ませんでした。
Usually, we get pretty quiet at night and we can focus on just cleaning and organizing the store, but a certain number of customers kept coming last 2 nights and it became harder to cut off the closing tasks.
とはいえ、最後はキチンと予定の時間前に全部を終える事ができたので良かったんですけどね。
Still, we could get everything done before it's supposed to be, so it's not that bad.
さて、このブログでも2回ほど書いたんですが、今年、AMCシアターという映画館でジブリフェスティバルというのをやっているんです。
I have talked about this here twice before, but AMC theater is doing Ghibli Festival 2017 this year.
こちらの写真に載っている作品が、月に１度、2日だけ放映されるのです。
As you can see it in this picture, they play each title just for 2days in a month.
1回目の「となりのトトロ」は地元で、2回目の「魔女の宅急便」はサンフランシスコで、先月8月はまた地元のAMCシアターで観て参りました。
Andy and I watched the first title, "My Neighbor Totoro" in the local AMC theater and the second one, "Kiki's Delivery Service" in San Francisco. And last month, we went to the local theater to watch the third title.

At the usual mall
同じモールで毎年恒例の家族写真を撮った後、映画館へ移動。
We actually had our annual family photo shooting at the same mall that day.
無事、シアター入り口でも写真が撮れました。（この日カメラを忘れて携帯で撮ったので、ちょっと画像が悪いですけど。）
I forgot to bring my camera that day, so Andy took this with my phone. Sorry about the less quality.
映画が始まる前のコマーシャルで、これまた宮崎監督の「ルパン三世、カリオストロの城」も9月に映画館で放映されるとやってました。
The commercial before the movie started said that they're going to play another Miyazaki work, "The Castle of Cagliostro" in September too.
見に行きたいけど、ド平日なんで、ちょっとしんどいかなぁ。
It's really enticing, but they're going to play on weekdays and that's kind of harder for me to go.
とにかく、今回の天空の城ラピュタも間違いなしの面白さでした。
Anyways, there's no doubt to say that it's amazing to watch "Castle In the Sky" in the theater.
今はCGが主流で、それはそれで、最新の「ジャングルブック」を観た時に感動したんですが、やっぱり手描きで創られたアニメーションから伝わる温かみは素晴らしいですよね。
Nowadays, a lot of animation movies are made with CG and I was so impressed by the latest "The Jungle Book", but still I really like feeling the warmth from hand-drawn animation movies.
DVDで何度も観ている作品でも、やはり映画館の大きなスクリーンで観るのは別物なので、こうやって映画館でやってくれるのは本当に嬉しいです。
Even though I've watched the movies on DVD many times, it's quite different to watch them on a big theater screen. So, I'm really happy that they play these movies at the theater.
アメリカでも日本が誇るジブリ映画が楽しまれていて、Hit-chan自身何をした訳でもないのに、誇らしい気持ちになります。
Like this, there's a lot of Ghibli fans in America and that makes me so proud even though I haven't done anything for it.
フェスティバルも残り3作品、全部制覇できるように、忘れないようにスケジュールチェックしていきたいと思います！
There are still 3 titles left in the festival, so I'm going to keep my on the schedule no to miss any of them!!
ちなみに、宮崎監督と同じ誕生日で鼻高々なHit-chanでした！
By the way, Hayao Miyazaki's BD and mine are same and that makes me so proud too!
