How's your life treating you lately?
さて先日全然やる気がないと書いたHit-chanですが、一昨日友達のミカちゃんと電話で話して少し気持ちが上がりました。
So, I mentioned here the other day that I had zero motivation these days, but I got a little bit of energy back thanks to my friend, Mika-chan for having a fun and casual conversation on the phone the day before yesterday.
ミカちゃん、1月に数年ぶりの日本帰国を果たし、1ヶ月日本で家族や友達との時間を満喫できたそうです。
She's just back to MN from Japan after very fun 1 month with her friends and families for the first time in the last few years.
そして、敏腕美容師でもあるミカちゃん、ミネソタでミカちゃんの帰りを待っていた人がたくさんいたようで、既に仕事のスケジュールは予約で一杯になっているようです。（恰好良い！）
（Hit-chanも髪切ってもらいたいなぁと思っているのですが、比較的行きやすい土曜日は4月まで予約埋まってるんだって。笑）
She's a very popular hairstylist, so there were tons of her clients waiting for her return in the last 1 month and her schedule has been already fully cooked by them this month. (How cool she is!)
さて、今日は最近のめいさんの様子をお届けしたいと思います。（まぁ、そんな大した内容じゃないですけど。）
Okay today, let me share some fun moments which our lovely daughter, May-chan, brought us recently.
皆さんご存知の通り、我が家のめいの名前は宮崎駿監督の「となりのトトロ」のめいちゃんから名付けたんですが、めいさん、ちょっと前まではその「となりのトトロ」を好んで観ていました。
As you might already know, Andy and I named May-chan after the little cute girl from a studio Ghibli movie, "My neighbor Totoro." and she's really into the movie until a month ago.
で、最近、Andyっちが「トトロ以外のジブリ作品も観てみよう。」と提案してくれて、ではと、「魔女の宅急便」を家族一緒に観ました。
（めいがもう少し小さい頃にも一緒に観たんですが、その時はあんまりハマりませんでした。）
One day, Andy suggested us, "Let's watch another Ghibli movie tonight!" and we picked up one called, "Kiki's Delivery Service" that night.
(We'd actually watched the movie together before, but May-chan was too young to stick to the story till the end at the time.0
そしたら、今回はよりストーリーを理解できるようになったからか、その日から「キキとジジ観る～！」と何度もお願いされるようになりました。
May-chan really loved the movie probably because she could understand the story better this time, and she's asked me, "I wanna watch Kiki & Jiji!!" almost everyday since.
先日発熱＆嘔吐で体調を崩した時も、いつもの遊びは体力なくてできなかったんですが、「キキとジジ観る。」と言ってソファに寝転びながら観てました。
（幸いこの時は2日程で回復しました。）
She actually got sick the other day and didn't have enough energy to do her usual playing, but "I wanna watch Kiki & Jiji." she still wanted to watch the movie lying on the couch like this.
(Thankfully, she got recovered in a few days then.)
トトロにハマっていた時は上のようにめいちゃんと同じ格好をして家の中を歩き回っていましたが、魔女の宅急便にハマっている今は。。。
When she's into "My Neighbor Totoro", she liked being dressed up like May-chan in the movie and walked around the house. Now she's really into "Kiki's Delivery Service" and...
元々持っていたお掃除セットのホウキに跨って。。。
Here she is! She rides the bloom of her cleaning toy set and
家の中をビュンビュン飛び回っています。(笑)
flies (runs) around the house. LOL
この跨がりスタイルが可愛い。
The riding style is so cute.
トトロの時と同じように魔女の宅急便で覚えたセリフもしょっちゅう言っていて、特にお気に入りは
Just like she did when she's into Totoro, she memorizes some lines from the movie and her favorite line is,
「本当ですか、奥さん！！」
"Really, Madam??"
と、キキがパン屋のおそのさんに言うセリフ。

そんでもって、「ママ、奥さんじゃないよ、やって。」と言われるので、Hit-chanは
And then, "Mommy, do 'Never mind' for me." May-chan asks me, so
「奥さんじゃないよ、ここいらじゃパン屋のおそので通ってるんだよ。」
" Never mind the 'Madam'. Here they all callme 'Osono of the bakery"
と、おそのさんのセリフを言わされます。(笑)
I have to play Osono for her. LOL
最近は結構自分一人で遊んでくれるようになっており、面白いのが、我が家の地下に置いてある室内バイクがお気に入りで、「あれ？どっか行ったな？」と思ったら、地下から室内バイクを漕ぐ音がよく聞こえてきます。
She's better at playing on her own lately and what's so funny was that she really loves riding on an indoor bike in the basement. When she sometimes gets so quiet and I wonder, "What's she doing?" I often hear the noise of her pushing the pedals downstairs.
誰にも見られず大きいバイクを器用に漕いでいる姿が可愛くて、思わず動画に撮っちゃいました。
She just really enjoys riding the big bike even without being watched by us, which's just so adorable to me and I couldn't help shooting a video.
ちなみにめいさん、ここ最近身長もグッと伸びて、既にHit-chanの半分以上の高さになりました。このまま順調に伸びて、Hit-chanが取れない高い物を取ってくれるようになることを祈ってます。(笑)
She's also been much taller lately and is now more than the half of my height. I hope that she'll keep growing and get taller than me and I can ask her to take something on a high spot for me. Haha
という訳で、我が家のめいさんの最近の様子でございました！
