あとですねぇ、Hit-chanの使っているノートパソコン、ずいぶん前からバッテリーが完全に死んじゃっていたんですが、ようやく近々修理に出そうと思っております。（Andyっちに持って行ってもらうのを頼むだけですけど、笑)
By the way, my laptop battery has been dead for a while, but I finally decided to take it in a repair store sometime soon. (I'll just Andy to take it in though. Haha.)
なので、修理中はAndyっちのパソコンを借りようと思っているんですが、色々と使い慣れてないし、もしブログが滞ったら「あ、Hit-chan、諦めたな。」って思っておいてください。(笑)
So, I'm going to borrow Andy's laptop in the meantime, but it's not familiar to me, so if this wouldn't been updated for a long time, just easily take it like "Oh, Hit-chan must have give up trying to update from the different laptop."
さて、前回書いたユナイテッドヌードルでの買い物の時、お向かいにあるお魚屋さんで買ったタコちゃんのその後のお話です。
In the last article, I wrote about the shopping at United Noodles with Brenda and Stacy. And I said I bought an octopus at the seafood store across the street from United Noodles.
まぁ、生のタコは売っていませんので、いつもこの大きな冷凍タコちゃんを購入します。
They don't sell raw octopus, so I always get this frozen one.
できるだけ小さいものを買うのですが、これでも1.5キロあります。(笑)
I usually try to get the smallest one at the store, but this one is still 3.36lb.
これをゆっくり弱火で茹でまして、たこ焼き用に小さく切って小分けにして冷凍します。
I defrosted this and washed it with ice water quick and then boiled in a big pot on very low heat. I chopped it to about a half inch square piece and put them in some separate small Ziploc bags to freeze.
今回のこのタコちゃん一匹で150個から200個のたこ焼きが焼けます。
I can make about 150 to 200 Takoyaki balls out of this one octopus.
で、後日、一人せっせと下準備をして、一人でたこ焼きパーティーしました。(笑) Andyっちは学校に行ってましたんでね。
Some days after, I prepped all the ingredients and had a Takoyaki party alone. Andy was in school that night.
出来上がり。（これは、一日過ぎて電子レンジで温めたものですが、やっぱり焼きたてが一番美味しいですねぇ。）
This is it. (This is actually leftover ones warmed up in microwave, but fresh-made ones are always the best.
とにかく、これで冷凍庫にたこ焼きストックがたくさんできました。
Anyways, I could stock tons of Takoyaki in my freezer.
まだまだ、小分けにしたタコちゃんも残っているので、またたこ焼きパーティーが好きな時にできます。
I still have some chopped octopus pieces as well, so I can do a Takoyaki party anytime again.
ちなみに、ユナイテッドヌードルで買った、セール品のパナップ、過労で倒れた日、食欲のない中パナップは食べられそうだったんで、夕食代わりに食べようと思ったんです。
By the way, I actually bought Japanese ice cream when I went there with Brenda and Stacy since it was a huge deal and on the day I was almost passed out from overwork and didn't have any appetite, the ice cream seemed the only thing I felt like eating. So, I was going to eat it as dinner that night.
そしたらねぇ。。。
Then...
微笑んでくれてたんですよ。
I saw a smile face in the cup!
もう、疲れ切った体と心に沁みわたる、優しい笑顔でしたよ。
Yeah, the sweet smile was so warm to my exhausted heart and body.
Hit-chan、全然知らなかったんですが、パッケージにもちゃんとスマイルが載っていました。
I didn't know this, but the package has a smile one on it too.
やっぱり、笑顔って人を幸せにするエネルギーがありますよね。
I believe a smile has some positive energy to make people happy.
アイスクリームに微笑まれて、心が癒されました。
The ice cream smiled to me and my heart got healed.
まぁ、そういう訳で、好きなものを食べて、好きなことをして幸せな人生を送っているHit-chanでございます。(笑)
Anyways, I'm eating whatever I like and doing whatever I like. Yeah, it's a very happy life. Haha.
