How are you doing today?
実は昨日の6月1日は、親友スカーレットの誕生日だったのでお祝いをしておりました。
Actually, yesterday, June 1st was Scarlet's birthday, so we celebrated it together.
バースデーガールの希望通り、スカーレット、スカーレットの彼氏、トラヴィス、ミス・メアリーとHit-chanの4人で、ウォーターパークという屋内プールに遊びに行きました。
As the birthday girl's wish, we went to an indoor pool amusement park called Water Park America, with 4 of us, Scarlet, her boyfriend, Travis, Miss Mary and me.
Hit-chan、あんまりプールとか行かない人なんですが、色々なウォータースライダーとか、ホットタブとかをめっちゃ楽しみました。
I'm not a huge fan of swimming and don't go to pool at all, but had much fun with some different styles of sliders and a hot tub.
プールで遊んだあとは、Hit-chanの家でご飯食べたり、映画観たりと、本当に楽しい時間を過ごしました。
（映画は「おくりびと」を観ました。）
After we played there, we came back to my house and enjoyed the night as cooking dinner and watching a movie etc...
(We watched a Japanese movie which got an Academy Award, "Okuribito, Departures")
バースデーガールも満足してくれたみたいで、本当に良かったです。
I'm so glad that the birthday girl had a great time.
Hit-chan個人的には、すご～く時間をかけて準備したプレゼントを遂に渡すことができて、スカーレットもめっちゃ喜んでくれたんで良かったです。
（プレゼントの内容はまた後日にブログになると思います。）
Personally, I was so happy that I could finally give a present to her and make her so excited because I took almost a year to get it ready.
(I think I can write about the present here sometime soon.)
さて、やっとですが、今日であゆみちゃん滞在記最後の記事になります。
Okay now, I want to write about the final article of Ayumi-chan's visit today.
あゆみちゃんがミネソタを発つ日、そこまであんまり外食していなかったので、「ミネソタらしいものを食べに行こう！」という事で、近くのレストランに行きました。
On the day Ayumi-chan left MN, we hadn't had dinner at a restaurant at all, so we're like "Let's go to eat something MN-like!" and went to a restaurant close to my house.
が、実はその日は母の日だったので、サーバーさんに「今日は3時まで、母の日のスペシャルバイキングしかやってないのよ～。」と言われてしまい、お目当てのウォールアイ（白身のお魚）とワイルドライススープにはありつけませんでした。（泣）
However, the day was actually mother's day, so a server lady told us "The original menu is from 3 pm and we only have mother's day special brunch buffet now." So, we couldn't have walleye and wild rice soup that we wanted to eat.
その日は他のお店も母の日で混んでいるだろうと思って、そのままバイキングを楽しむことにしました。
Anyways, we assumed that other places would be as busy as where we were because of mother's day, so we decided to enjoy the brunch buffet.
チキンとかパスタとか。。。
Roasted chicken and pasta and some other stuff...
ワンドリンク、ジュースは無料でついてきました。
The brunch was included with a glass of complimentary juice.

デザートは結構充実していましたが、アメリカンな甘さでした。（爆）
They had a lot of kinds of desert, but it's American which means a little bit too sweet to me. Haha.
ミネソタらしいものが食べられなかったのは残念でしたが、最後にちゃんとレストランで食事できたんで良かったです。
It's so bad that I couldn't let Ayumi-chan try MN food at all, but it's still nice for us to eat at a nice restaurant
今回、4日間という短い滞在でしたが、ハイキングとか友達紹介とか、色々できて良かったです。
It was just a 4 days stay and kind of short, but I'm glad that we still could do a lot like hiking or introducing Ayumi-chan to my MN friends
あゆみちゃんも、ちょっと息抜きできて良かったんじゃないかなぁと思ってます。
I hope that Ayumi-chan could have a relaxing time here as well.
そういう訳で、最終話まで時間かかっちゃいましたが、あゆみちゃん滞在記これでおしまいです。
Okay. I took longer to finish this story, but this is the end of Ayumi-chan's visit.
