さて、まずは重大発表？
So, I want to start declaring a big news today.
前々からHit-chan、ずっと話していましたが、先日とうとう日本一時帰国の飛行機のチケットを予約しました！！！！（拍手！）
I've been talking about this a lot, but I finally booked flight tickets to Japan the other day!!!!(Clap your hands!!)
10月に10日間滞在する予定でございます。
I'll go back there in October and stay for 10 days.
3年ぶりに日本の地を踏みますよ。
I'll stand on the ground of Japan for the first time in 3 years.
今から考えただけでワクワクが止まりません。
I can't stop getting excited if I think about it even now.
リアルお友達の方、これから予定を立てたいと思いますので、またよろしくお願いします。
My friends in Japan, I want to make a plan from now, so let me know when and what you want to do with me.
さて、今日のお話ですが、先日Andyっちとミュージカルを見に行きました。
So today, I'd love to talk about a musical which Andy and I went to the other day.
というのも、以前紹介した、スカーレットのおじいちゃん、おばあちゃん、Huppa&Hummaが劇団に所属していて、その公演があるとの事で教えてもらったんです。
I talked about them on this blog before, but Scarlet's grandparents, Huppa&Humma actually are in a local theater group and they let me know that they're going to do the musical soon.
最近、Andyっちとちゃんとお出かけする機会もなかったので、丁度「一緒にどっか行けたらなぁ～。」と話していたところでグッドタイミングでした。
It was kind of a really good timing for us because Andy and I didn't hang out together so much and were saying like "We should do something together soon!"
会場は近くの学校の劇場だったんですが、めちゃくちゃ豪華な施設でビックリしました。
The place was the theater of a local school, but I was so surprised at the very sophisticated facilities.
２人の持ってるパンフレットに書いてあるように、今回見た演目はトニー賞を取った「ミュージックマン」というミュージカルでした。
As you can see on the book we have in the pictures, "The Music Man" is the title of the musical we watched this time.
あらすじは、簡単に言うと、ある男が電車に乗り色々な街を回って、その土地の住人に音楽隊を作ると言って、楽器や衣装を売りつけお金を集めた後、商品を渡さずそのまま街を立ち去るという詐欺行為を繰り替えしていました。でも、ある街で出会った音楽教師の女性に恋に落ちて。。。って感じです。

最初は上の写真の電車のシーンから始まるんですが、いやぁ、皆さんめちゃくちゃ歌もセリフ回しも上手で、素人さんの集団とは全く思えません。
The first scene started from in the train like the picture and everybody was amazingly singing and saying the lines. I couldn't believe that they're amateurs.
手前に座っている男性が主役の詐欺師だったんですが、彼は普段郵便配達されてるんですよ。
The man sitting in the front was the leading character, but he's a mail man in his daily life.
で、お待ちかねのHuppa&Humma登場！真ん中で鍬を持っているのがHuppa、その左隣がHummaです。
And here are my stars, Huppa&Humma! The man with a plow is Huppa and the lady on Huppa's left is Humma.
子役の子達も一生懸命頑張ってましたよ。
The kids actors were playing and dancing so well too.
今回の公演は大人１人15ドルだったんですけど、15ドルでこのクオリティのミュージカルがお手軽に見られるなんて、本当にお得です。
It was only $15 for one adult for this play, but that is a super good deal for me to enjoy this high quality musical.
それに、地元の有志劇団でこのクオリティのミュージカルを創り出せる、アメリカのミュージカルレベルの高さに改めて感動しましたよ。
Also, I was so impressed and moved by the quality of American musical which even just a local theater group can create such a high level play.
で、有志劇団の醍醐味、公演の後に演者さんと直接お話しができる機会があったので、Huppa&HummaにAndyっちを紹介しに行きました。
The best part of the local theater group,
2人の衣装も本当に可愛かった～。
Their costumes were super cute!
2人は先日結婚50周年を迎えたんですが、今でもこうして一緒に舞台に出るくらい仲良しだし、見ての通りとっても若いし、Hit-chanにとってHuppa&Hummaは憧れの存在なんですよ。
They actually just had the 50th anniversary, but even after 50 years, they are still so close and getting along together. As you can easily see, they are so young too. They are a dreamy and ideal couple to me.
Hit-chanもAndyっちと、Huppa&Hummaのように年を重ねられたらなぁって思ってます。
I really wish I could get older with Andy like Huppa&Humma.
Andyっちも楽しんでくれたので、次の公演もぜひぜひ見に行きたいと思ってます！
Andy had a really good time as well, so I want to go to their play with him again!
Huppa&Humma、本当に素敵でした！また見に行くからね～！！！
Huppa&Humma, you both were super awesome! We're going to go to your next play for sure!!!!
