Today I took a day off to go to a hospital in Gifu city for a thorough medical checkup. I was a bit worried for what a doctor of the hospital would tell me, because I hadn't had a close checkup last year though I was told I had a fatty liver.
After 1.5 hours drive I arrived at the hospital. A lot of poeple were waiting for their checkup like me. I went to a reception desk, received a uniform, and changed my clothes in a locker room. It was so warm and clean in the hospial.
At first I had a blood check. The result was the same as that of the last year. The point of GTP, function of liver, was not normal. In short I have a fatty liver. Height, weight, and eyesight haven't changed too. I was a bit relieved to see they hadn't got worse. (^^)
At last I had a stomach X-ray after some 10 checks. I drank a cup of barium and laid myself on a machine. I always feel terribly bad during a stomach X-ray. So many times I was ordered by an engineer to turn right, to turn left, to turn over on my back, and to turn over on my stomach, on the machine. That was the hardest time I had in the hospital.
After all the checks I was served lunch. The menu was extremely healthy. Everything was a Japanese food with a low calorie. I know I will get thinner and healthier with these kind of foods, but my food life will get much more boring. I can never stand a life without beef or pork. (^^)
And I need to take exercise everyday to consume my fat. But how can I do that!? Everynight I am exausted after hours of overtime work. I have no power left to walk around at night. I also can't get up early in the morning to take exercise. I need to have enough sleep for my work.
