Macに置ける定番キャプチャソフトであるところのSnapz Pro XがついにUniversal Binary化されたようです（Intel Macでの動作を保証）。

2.0.2まではPowerPCオンリー。2.0.3でIntelがサポートされた、というわけです。

個人的には、これで、PowerPC環境にこだわる理由がほぼ消滅したといっていいかもしれません。
このSnapz Pro XのUB化により、使用しているソフトがIntel CPU対応しているか、Rosseta上でほぼ問題のないレベルで動作するであろう状態になったためです。
もちろん、普段遣いのメインマシンであるiMac G5をIntel CPUをつんだiMacに交換することは、気分的にできないのですけど（だって、現行Core Duo iMacだと32bitマシンということで、なんか格が下がっちゃう気分があるもんで、ね）、Core 2 Duoを搭載するならば、真剣に交換を考えはじめることでしょう。

ちなみに、Snapz Pro X 2.0.3のアップデートの中身は
