1963 Toyota FJ 45 Cwercab Pickup

　だれかこんなトラックを造らないかなぁと思っていたら、カリフォル二アのＴＬＣによってすでに製作されていた。この美しいトラックは時代を超えて国境を越えて南北アメリカ大陸のマテリアルを組み合わせて完成された。

 

There is a soft spot in our hearts for Land Cruisers. While we’ve seen some clean examples come up for sale in the last couple of months, this FJ45 Crew Cab is simply top of its class. TLC built a series of four of these Cruisers almost a decade ago and they quickly disappeared into loving homes to never be seen again – until now. What might be considered by some as the Holy Grail of Cruisers, this FJ45 has an interesting story. While the chassis is a 1963 FJ45, the body is from a new Toyota Bandeirante that was designed for military and municipal use in Brazil. The FJ45 is powered by a 5.3 liter, fuel injected Vortec V8 paired with a 4L65E automatic transmission. The truck has power steering, air conditioning, seating for five, and a clean custom interior designed to  as close to stock as possible, but with some modern conveniences. The Cruiser has been garage kept and there are 15,000 miles on it since the build. The truck is a real gem and would be a pleasure to own!

　説明によると、ＴＬＣによって約10年前に製作されたこのＦＪ45は米国で販売された1963年のＦＪ45のシャーシーを延長し、ブラジルトヨタが生産販売していたバンデアンテの クルーキャブ仕様のロングボディを乗せ、エンジンはインジェクションのＧＭVortec 5.3ＬＶ８にオートマチックトランスミッションを組み合わせている。パワステ、エアコンが装備されており往来のＦＪ45とは全く異なる。
