5th Cruiser Fest 2013

 今年で5回目を迎えたアメリカ最大のランドクルーザーイベント、Cruiser Fest 2013 が無事に終了した。一部の写真が早々にExpedition Potal で紹介されている。

 

Each fall, a passionate group of Land Cruiser owners converge on Tooele, Utah at the Miller Motorsports Park for CruiserFest. 2013 was a banner year, drawing Toyota enthusiasts from as far as Venezuela, South Africa and Canada. The event has a casual and community feel, representing both well-used and impeccably-restored Land Cruisers. The cornerstone and founder of the event is Greg Miller, a true Land Cruiser aficionado, and curator of the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum, its facility located within the motor sports park. Greg's collection is extensive, including many rare and original models from the history of this iconic brand. My compliments to Greg, Anne Marie, Kurt Williams of Cruiser Outfitters and all of the other volunteers that made this event possible!

ここに展示されているランドクルーザーは、

主催者であるグレッグミラー氏のコレクションである。

 

クルーザーフェストは今年で5年目である。

5年前である2009年頃から人々中でランドクルーザーに対する価値観が変わって来た時期。

 

2009年が転換期であったと言えよう。 

 

アメリカ人達が具体的な形で日本の（主に古い）ランドクルーザーを認めた出来事なのである。

 

勿論、それまでも認める人は多かったが．．．。

 

それはまた、

PISMO.CA (Surf-n-Tuff) から MOAB,UT(Cruise Fest) 、

西海岸からロッキー山脈周辺、

への移行でもあり、

 

USランクル４ｘ４の成長期を迎えた時代となったと感じている。
