Land Cruiser FJ25

　市場にレストレーションが施された1959年のランドクルーザー FJ25 が出て来た。この FJ25 はテキサスのElite Land Cruiser の手よってオリジナルに忠実な意志と姿勢を持ってレストレーションが施された。どこぞのコーヒー農園で使用されていたとの事だがアメリカにはハワイ以外にコーヒー農園が存在しない事から、おそらく中南米諸国から輸入された車体だと考えられる。希少な FJ25 は当時の新車時よりも美しくレストレーションされ発売当時では考えられなかった程の高価な値段を付けている。

Rescued from the hillsides of a central province Coffee Plantation, this historic Land Cruiser stayed in the same family its entire life. The family had pictures from when it was first purchased and across the years with the family as they tended their farm and went into town as required. When acquired it was literally in the family's barn. It is a stunning example of a professional, no expense spared, proper restoration.  

In fact, the 1959 model configured exactly as this one was the model used by Toyota and submitted to the US Government Proving grounds for contract consideration post war. The Jeep was chosen instead and Toyota was extremely disappointed and determined to make the best SUV in the world. They took the feedback from these tests and tweaked the design and launched the J40 series only one year later in 1960- the rest is History! The FJ40 became the most iconic, reliable and recognizable vehicle in the World.

Everything was completely restored including drive train, original engine, upholstery, body, tires, electrical, emblems, decals, weather-stripping and more. Rare original wiper motors, lower dome light, original doors, engine crank handle, tool kit, jack- all included. 

The FJ25 has all the power and torque from the original Toyota F-135 engine. The factory soft top is finished in a complimentary color and the seats are the original corral color. This legendary Toyota 4WD is amazing in its capability, ruggedness and reliability.
