歌詞もいけてると思う。

（ruled the world　で意味も無く、Tears & Fears の "Everybody wants to rule the world" を思い出した。こっちもイギリスのバンド、２５年も前の曲だ。ボーカルのピンクのポロシャツ、この髪型でのポニーテールに注目、シブい。）




曲の感じからクラシックで楽しめると思っていたら、やっぱり。

このバイオリンのお兄ちゃん、Eric Wuest って言う名前らしいだが、いろんなカバーをやっている。売り出しているCDには入ってないようだが、↓も↑に劣らず良かった。



昨晩、家族が寝静まった後で、健康保険改革法案の行方をすっとテレビで追っていて、失望感もあって疲れた。自分でも恥ずかしい位、手抜きなエントリーでした。やはり疲れた時は、管では無く弦かなー。

健康保険改革法案 上院案が下院で可決

ついに、上院案が下院で可決された。

これで、理論的にはオバマ大統領がサインをすれば、正式に法律となる。但し、同時に下院で可決された修正案 ( Reconciliation ) がこれから上院で審議される。一応、この修正案が上院で可決されるのを待って、オバマ大統領が署名する予定になっている。（結局、 Deem and Pass という事態にはならなかった。）（追記：結局、上院での修正は無かった）

共和党や保守派は抵抗を諦めていいないので、これからも混乱が続くと思われる。

議会ばかりでなく、法廷闘争も控えている。既に、３０州以上が違憲で訴訟すると宣言している。保守派の団体等も同様な準備をしている。基本的に、政府は国民に、サービス（健康保険）の購入を強制出来るかという論点だ。上院案では、Public Option （政府運営保険）が無いので、国民は民間の健康保険会社からの購入を強いられる事になる。

今後の展開は予断を許さないが、アメリカ政治の恥部を炙り出す事だろう。（既に炙り出されているが、懲りずに押しす埋めた民主党首脳とオバマ政権の蛮勇に驚愕。共和党も彼らがここまでする馬鹿だとは思わんかったのだろう。）

アメリカは衰退の大きな一歩を踏み出したかもしれない。しかし、この国の人々の底力を侮ってはならない。勝負は下駄を履くまで分からない。
