I am going home.

I'm going home,
though nobody is waiting for me there.

because it is the home where my husband, my daughter and I lived a happy life---only 7 years.

because it is the place where I spent most of my life---alone.

I'll be away for a week.

These dolls are still in the rocking chair, perhaps waiting for me.
