See you in April!

2013-03-28 00:25:00 | ノンジャンル
I'm going back to my home in Niigata City
for a week or so.

I'm leaving Tokyo early tomorrow morning.

I'd like to say hello to the neighbors
and pay 町内会費.

I'd like to clean my rooms.

The cold wave burst my boiler 給湯器.
So I'll have a new boiler installed.

I'll also go to Tochio to help my sister
and her husband.

I'd like to see my good old friends in Niigata.
I'll have very busy and happy days in Niigata.

See you!

Today we, five ladies, met at Musashi-koganei Station.

N-san showed us to the Nogawa.

This was my first time to go to the Nogawa.

We walked along the Nogawa admiring cherry blossoms.

(武蔵野公園)

A soft spring rain was falling.
It was a little cold.

We returned to the station by bus.

Then Y-san invited us to her house
and we ate onigiri we had brought.

Y-san served us wine, hot tea and coffee.

We talked a lot.
We laughed a lot.

What a nice time I had!

Thank you so much, Ladies!

cherry blossoms in Kunitachi

This morning, Mrs. M sent me an email to suggest
going out to see the cherry blossoms.

I proposed that we should enjoy the cherry blossoms
in Kunitachi City.

We met at Kunitachi Station at 11:00.
We walked along Daigaku-Dori, which is the main
street of Kunitachi.

All the cherry trees along Daigaku-Dori were in full bloom!

We enjoyed them on the pedestrian bridge.

Amazing!

We had lunch at a French restaurant on Daigaku-Dori.

The menu consisted of six courses.
We had a fine lunch but it was rather expensive.

We had a happy day together.

I walked 15848 steps in a day.

to Inokashira Park

The weather forecast predicted rain tomorrow
and advised us to enjoy cherry blossoms today.

“OK. Then I'll go to Inokashira Park in Kichijoji,”
I thought to myself.

I went to Kokubunji Station by bus, then to Kichijoji
by train.

This was my fourth time to visit Inokashira Park
but I had never seen cherry blossoms there.

Wow! The cherry blossoms in Inokashira Park
are at their best now! I'm sorry it is cloudy.

I walked around the pond and greatly enjoyed myself.

SH-san, a friend of mine , gave me a call
and we decided to meet at Showa Kinen Park
in Tachikawa.

I bought 'onigiri’ for lunch at a convience store
and hurried to Showa Kinen Park by train.

SH-san talked a lot and I was a good listener.

What a beautiful weather!

What a peaceful time!

People in Showa Kinen Park all looked happy.

We spent a very a good time there.
