walking in the neighborhood

Yesterday was such a cold day that I felt
as if winter had come.

Last night I turned on my kotatsu
and warmed myself at my kotatsu.

Today it was not so cold as yesterday.

I made a long detour to go to my daughter's home.

It was a delightful detour.

Today I walked 13887 steps.

By the way, the big typhoon No.14 is moving northward.

I hope the typhoon will weaken.

the Seine painted by Mr. Eisuke Yano

I went to Gallery Yoshii in Ginza today.

Mr. Yano is holding a one-man show of his paintings there.
He is a painter living in Paris, France.

All his paintings were those of the Seine flowing through Paris.

He loves the Seine.
He paints every scene of the Seine.

I was deeply touched by his paintings.

I visited southern France in 2003
but I've never been to northern France yet.

I really wish I could see the Seine with my own eyes.

I’m all right.

I’m so happy that my ears do not hurt at all.

Today I went to my ear doctor.

He said,

“The medicine seems to have taken effect.
Your cough is easing up.
Your ears are clean.
Nothing is wrong with your ears.

Come to see me again when you have some pain
in your ears. I’m sure you are all right.”

It's nice to be in good health condition.
