today is koharu's day

2014-10-26 21:44:00 | ノンジャンル
Today 第 37回公民館まつり was held in this area.

koharu's brass band club was invited to play on the stage.

The band played several delightful tunes.

koharu performed oboe solo---
Ave Maria by Bach / Gounod.
(グノーのアヴェマリア)

koharu's music teacher accompanied her on the piano.

Oh, how beautiful and peaceful!

koharu's brass band club activity in her junior high school days
---is over.

koharu was born on October 28, 1999.

We decided to celebrate her birthday today,
we, koharu's parents, koharu's elder brother and I.

Happy Birthday, koharu!

We all love you so much.

DOUTOR lunch was canceled

A cold rain has been drizzling down all day.
It is quite cold today, but not uncomfortably so.

I did housework and hurried to DOUTOR, a coffee shop,
to meet HK-san, a friend of mine.

I ordered a sandwich and an English tea.

Then I noticed I had received an email from her.

She sent me the mail at 10:00 but I did not notice it.

The mail said she had a stomachache and was waiting
to see a doctor at the hospital.

I wrote back to her,
”Don't worry about DOUTOR lunch.
We can have lunch together next time.
Take good care of yourself, please.”

I hope she is all right.

what a lovely day!

It was very cold when I got up this morning.

I opened the windows in my apartment
and let in some fresh autumn air.

The sunshine glinted off the windows.

What a beautiful day!

The sky was so blue.

With a bright sky overhead, I walked to the City Hall
to attend my granddaughter's school event.

I enjoyed junior high school students' chorus.

I enjoyed the performance by Brass Band Club.

I enjoyed PTA's chorus.

The junior high school students sang clearly
and beautifully.

They sang with firm, rounded tones.

I was often moved to tears.

Where has my baby koharu gone?

She is not a baby any more.
She is not a little girl any more.

She is growing up each day.

Oh, how I miss those happy days with her!

Time really flies.
