koharu is excited!

Today one of my dear friends sent three lovely dolls to koharu.
I was surprised to know those dolls were her own work.

They were cleverly made of strings.
koharu was excited to be given such lovely dolls.

My daily life has returned.
My daughter is busy and so I go to koharu's school
at 4:00 p.m. to take her home instead of my daughter.

I stay and play with my grandchildren until my daughter
comes home. I am happy I can help my daughter
when she is busy.

koharu's sweet shop

Last Saturday, the day before yesterday,
koharu, my 7-year-old granddaughter,
had a Saturday open house at school.

Her parents went to school and observed
their daughter's Japanese class.

1st year students had make-believe stores
and 6th year students came to buy goods there.

koharu played at keeping a sweet shop in her class.
She drew many pictures of sweets.

She told me that she was very happy that her goods
sold well and that they were soon sold out.

I wondered what they were. I saw them near my hotel in Wien.
