I'm going home tomorrow--
to my vacant house in Niigata City.

Is it still snowing in Niigata?
Or is a spring wind is blowing?

Oh, I don't mind at all about the weather.

I'm just going home.

See you again in April.

harmonica mini-concert

2009-03-26 23:06:00 | ノンジャンル
In Harmonica Circle we do a mini-concert
four times a year.

Each of us members go forward when our name is called
and play whatever song we like on the harmonica.

Our teacher gives each of us a frank comment and advice
after the performance.

I played "Auld Lang Syne."
The teacher told me that the sound was beautiful but
that I had better play the eighth note more smoothly.

The atmosphere in the mini-concert was extremely tense.

ANJUNA-san's open-air concert

Yesterday, on Sunday, Ms. M and I went to
Ueno Open-air Stage by Shinobazu Pond
to enjoy ANJUNA-san's open-air concert.

I like his songs.
I took Ms. M, a friend of mine, to his concert.
She said she liked his music very much.

After enjoying his concert she invited me to her house.
She cooked sukiyaki for dinner.
We had a good time and I stayed the night at her house.

Today, around noon Ms. M and I enjoyed walking in the park
on the way to the station. I saw beautiful cherry blossoms.

I was in time for koharu's coming home from school.

koharu's music

2009-03-20 21:52:00 | ノンジャンル
Last night---
koharu and I had dinner at a restaurant.
We enjoyed talking a lot.
We enjoyed drawing a lot.
We took a bath together.
We went to bed at half past ten.

This morning---
We got up at eight o'clock.
koharu told me that a piece of music flashed
into her mind.

She asked me to listen to her music on the piano
before she forgot it.

koharu's music sounded very beautiful !
I did love her music.

koharu named it "mizuumi no warutsu."
"Waltz on the lake"---how nice!

I'm sorry I can't upload her music on this blog.

Wow! I made it, koharu!

to my Grandson

Time really flies!

My grandson, koharu's brother, will be fifteen
years old next week.

Today he will finish junior high school.
His mother is going to attend the ceremony.

I'll give him some suggestions from a book
sent by my pen pal Anne.
Anne has been my best pen pal for 53 years.

1 Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen every day.
2 Think big thoughts, but relish small pleasures.
3 Be kinder than necessary.
4 Leave everything a little better than you found it.
5 Live your life as an exclamation, not an explanation.

A thank-you party will be held in the evening.
His mother will be busy.

His father will be coming home late.
He is very busy with work.

I am going to stay the night at koharu's room.
koharu asks me to stay with her two more days.
Thank you, koharu.

(He was a little boy.)
