Time flies and it's the last day of May, 2021.

We are not in the rainy season yet.
The weather is very changeable these days.
So the rainy season will soon be here.

I fear the violent heat after the rainy season.
I hope this is only an imaginary fear.

I like listening to the radio better than watching TV.

Do you often listen to the radio?
Do you have your favorite radio programs?

One of my favorite radio programs is 「地球ラジオ」
broadcasted every weekend.

This program reminds me of many foreign countries
I visited.

Every morning I listen to the radio English programs---
ラジオ英会話（15分）英会話タイムトライアル（10分）　
ボキャブライダ（5分）
エンジョイ　シンプル　イングリッシュ（5分）.

This is a daily habit for me.

Oh, I want to be a better speaker of English!

It was a nice sunny day today.

I walked along Tamagawa-jsui and
enjoyed rays of sunshine
through the branches of trees.

The shadows of the leaves of trees
were so beautiful.

I don't know why but I suddenly
remembered a dear memory of my childhood.

I would often hop on the shadows of leaves
On One Leg.

What an innocent behavior!

There are no sunny days these days.

It has been raining all day today.

It was rather cold.

I feel as if I were in the rainy season.

When will the rainy season set in
here in Tokyo?

Today I attended Wednesday English Class
and had a very good time studying English
with my friends.

On the way back to my apartment,
I took pictures of the hydrangea flowers
in the cold rain.

“Declaration of a state of emergency”
has been extended until the end of May.

To my surprise, the community centers in my city
are all open from 9 a.m.to 5 p.m. this time.

We are allowed to enjoy our club activities there.

But we decided to cancel Friday English Class in May.

There are 10 members in Friday English Class.
It is not a small group.
The room is a little small for ten members.

We are concerned about the 3 C’s---（３密）
crowds, closed spaces and close-contact.
（「密閉」「密集」「密接」）

As for Wednesday English Class, we, four ladies,
decided to reopen studying English.

We study in a big room, so we are free from 3 C’s.

I'm happy I can meet my three friends on Wednesday
under this state of emergency.

There's no change in my daily life.

There's neither surprise nor event
in my daily routine.

This means I live a peaceful life.

But I'm not quite satisfied, I'm afraid.

I feel something lacking.

Why? I'm sorry I don't know.

I took a picture of white clovers
in the neighborhood today.



White clovers remind me of those days
when I looked for four-leaf clovers with my friends.

There were a lot of clovers growing in the yard
of our school---elementary school.

Oh, what a wonderful time we had making
beautiful necklaces with those white flowers!

We talked and laughed a lot.

We were all dreaming of bright future.
