　"Come Together - America Salutes the Beatles" と題されたこのアルバムは文字通りビートルズの名曲をアメリカの歌手がカヴァーしたもの。奇抜な曲風は一切なくアメリカのカントリー歌手達が自分達のイメージでただ切々と唄うという趣向のアルバムです。この手の企画物のアルバムはとかくつまらなくなりがちだが、小生には好感が持てました。 "In My Life"は男女のデュエットという趣向になっていて唄っているのは "Susan Ashton & Gary Chapman"。
