(The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction)
(Windermere Lake Cruiser)

After Dove House I visited
"The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction."

Many boys and girls were enjoying the attraction.
I thought koharu would be excited to visit it.
A rainbow appeared in the sky!

It began to rain again.
The wind began to blow again.
But I hurried to a pier to go on a Windermere Lake Cruising.
Weather in England was really changeable.

(Dove Cottage, Home of the poet William Wordsworth)

It had stopped raining when I arrived in Grasmere.
Dove Cottage was in Grasmere.
Dove Cottage is the place where William Wordsworth
lived from 1799 to 1808.

When I visited Dove Cottage I understood why Wordsworth
wrote that peaceful poem "Daffodils."

"Oh, how happy I am to be here," I said to myself.

(enjoying a drive in the Lake District)

It was very cold in the morning.
It was sleety--snow and rain.
Any weather was OK in the Lake District, I thought.

My bus started at 9:30.

I heard there were 300 lakes in the Lake District.
I saw mountains capped with snow in the distance.
They were 1000 meters high, the conductor said.

My bus passed along a street in Keswick
and I saw beautiful hilly fields, which were a location
for the movie "Miss Potter."

A light rain was still raining and my bus was running.

(from Haworth to Windermere in the Lake District)

After buying some stamps of "Wuthering Heights"
I went back to my bus.

It took about three hours to go to Windermere by bus.

I was looking out of my bus window all the way,
marveling at the peacefulness of the English countryside.

I arrived at a hotel in Windermere late in the evening.
It was a big hotel on the lake.
I stayed at the hotel for two nights.
