The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is to switch on the radio by my bedside. I like listening to the radio. I switch on the radio whenever I feel lonely. Radio is my best friend.
Now this morning, when I put on the radio as usual, half asleep, I heard a song which sounded so soft and sweet. I knew the melody but I didn't know the title of the song. But the line 'the top of the world,' was repeated again and again, so the line might be the title of the song. I feel very happy when I hear my favorite music by chance on the radio. I feel as if it were a special gift for me.
I love the Carpenter's music very much. Especially I like Their 'Yesterday Once More' I can't listen to this song without tears---sometimes bitter tears and another time happy tears. A good old memory rushes into my mind. I always remember my husband who died so young.
