My daughter had the misfortune to break her left ankle last November. She could not walk or move and so I went to her house and took care of her family. She has a small daughter and 10 year old son and her husband works for a company, who comws home very late every night.
Two months after my daughter broke her ankle, I myself fell and broke my left ankle ! It was January 26. Now I find it very difficult to walk. I can't go out. The doctor says it will take 3 months for me to be all right. Two weeks have passed. I gave up all my activities and cancelled all the plans.
I said to myself, "Oh, she is all right. I will go to Europe this March," and was going to the travel agency to pay the money for the trip and on the way there, alas, I fell. Everything is cancelled. I stay in a small room of the apartment house. My daughter visits me and invites me to stay with her but I feel more comfortable in this small room, staying here by myself.
