I enjoyed three days stay in Norikura. Autumn colors of various plants in Norikura were splendid.
On the first day I visited Kamikouchi and walked a very short distance, from Taisho-ike Pond to Kappa-bashi Bridge. Kamikouchi is a beautiful place which collects a crowd in all seasons. I wish I could visit it when there were very few people coming there.
On the second day I went to Tatami-daira by bus, the top of Mt. Norikura-dake, which is 2700 meters high. Then I climbed 63 meters and arrived at Mt. Mao-dake.
Then I went down the mountain enjoying autumn colors of Mt. Norikura-dake. The beauty of the scene is beyond description.
On the third day I enjoyed walking around Norikura-kogen Plateau. It was raining but I enjoyed it very much. It was so silent, clean, and clear.
