　アルバム『Revolver』のトップを飾る曲。ジョージ・ハリソンの曲がトップにくるのはこの１曲だけだ。所得に対して極度の累進課税が実施されていた当時の英国では最高税率は９５％だったようだ。この後なんと９９．５％にまで達したという。消費税５％を変えることもできない現在の日本とはえらい違いだ。
