to Koganei Park, alone

Koganei Park always reminds me of good old days
with my granddaughter koharu.

How often I took her there!
koharu and I ran a race.
koharu and I played badminton.
koharu and I played catch.
koharu and I enjoyed kite lying.

We enjoyed walking a lot.
We enjoyed talking a lot.

Now she has grown up a lot.
She is very busy every day.

She has no time to go to Koganei Park with me.
Even when she has no school, she goes to school
to play the oboe.

How I miss those good old days
when koharu was so young!

Yesterday, it was such a warm day
that I walked to Koganei Park alone.

I walked along Tamagawa-josui to Koganei Park.
