Takahata-fudoson Kongouji Temple

Ms Y and I visited Takahata-fudoson Kongouji Temple
in Hino City,　Tokyo.

It was a hot and humid day of summer but walking around
the temple made us feel comfortable.

A lot of hydrangeas, ajisai, were waiting for us.
They were so lovely.

We had a heavy rain today. I walked in the rain to the community
center and attended Friday English Club.

First we talked about what was the most exciting thing we had
in the past week. I talked about the Anjuna-san's live concert,
of course.

Then we learned about ten most common mispronounced English
words. They were 'clothes, February, athlete, probably,
colleague, espresso, Wednesday, escape library and picture.'

Learning English is very pleasant, and interesting as well.

I was happy to find 'yama-boushi' near the community center.
Its flower language is 'friendship.'

We are now in the rainy season. We've had bad weather
lately.　　But it did not rain today here in Tokyo.

I walked along tamagawa-josui and went to my daughter's
in the morning. I enjoyed watching flowers, leaves and
weeds growing abundantly in the bushes.

They made me happy.

joy and inspiration

Yesterday was a very special day for me.
chiecom-san, tarumi-san and I attended our blog friend Anjuna-
san's live concert in a live house APIA in Shibuya.

His concert was given after an interval of five years! He wrote
both words and music and he sang by himself as he was playing the
guitar. His words were full of love and thanks. His music was
so beautiful.

We four are blog friends. We always talk on our web log sites.
And we had never met before yesterday. But as soon as I saw
them, I felt as if we had been good friends for years.

You all made me feel the joy of life yesterday.
You all inspired in me a love for living.
Thank you, my dear friends.

hydrangea in rain

I've just come back from my Friday English Club
at the community center.

We had a new American teacher today. I'm sure
we'll all enjoy talking in English. I hope I'll be
a better speaker of English.

It has been raining since early this morning.
On the way home from the community center I took
a picture of hydrangea in rain.
