My granddaughter is 5 years old. She loves playing with dolls. She has seven dolls. She names them, dresses them and makes up a story for them.
She herself plays the roles of 4 dolls and I myself 3 dolls. Her story never approaches an end. She never gets tired of playing dolls.
Today I visited her and played with dolls with her. The weather was muggy---too warm and wet. But the air conditioner wasn't working in her room. "Let's turn on the air conditioner. It's too hot," I said to her.
But she said, "No, I will not. I'm OK without an air conditioner, because there's no air conditioner at my nursery school. I'm strong enough to endure the heat like this. Don't run the air conditioner, Grandma!"
