koharu, my 11-year-old granddaughter, went to
Yatsugatake for a school trip.
She stayed there two nights and three days,
from June 6 to June 8.
It was her first time to be away from her family.
She was excited to tell me how wonderful it was
to stay at a mountain house with her classmates
--six girls in one room.
koharu greatly enjoyed three days in Yatsugatake.
koharu really liked Yatsugatake.
This school trip will be one of her precious memories
in her elementary school days.
