I enjoyed picking cherries at a fruit farm in Tendo City.
Fresh cherries were so delicious!

Then I visited Jion-ji Temple in Sagae City.
I tolled the bell.
I was deeply moved by its profound ringing.

On the way home most passengers on the bus
were sleeping but I was looking out of the bus window.
I enjoyed the changing skies.

I had a good box supper in my bus.

I came back to my apartment in Tokyo late last night.
I was tired but felt so happy and grateful.

Yesterday, the weather began to clear.
The bright sunshine almost hurt my eyes.

First, I visited Flower Park.
Every plant there looked fresh after rain.
I saw giganteum for the first time in my life.

(giganteum)

I enjoyed clean fresh air.

I enjoyed riding in a Kanran-sha like a little girl.

Then my bus ran on Zao Echo Line.
We should have enjoyed nice views and alpine plants
along the Line.

But we were completely in a fog.
At the top it was difficult even to walk!
Where was the crater? I saw nothing.
(at the top)

The hotel was on Zao Kogen.
I went there by ropeway.
The hotel stood by Dokko-numa Pond.

My room was too big for me.
I loved the room and had a good sleep.
I was dead tired after a long bus drive in the fog.

This is the season of harvesting cherries.
Yamagata is famous for its growing cherries.
I spent my last two days of June in Yamagata.

In spite of awful weather, I joined a tow-day bus tour
which I had already planned to do.

A heavy rain in Tokyo made me hesitate to go
but my motto "NO DAY BUT TODAY" made me go.

My bus ran and ran in the rain over Tohoku Expressway.
The rain got gradually weaker as I left Tokyo.
I felt very cold.

On the way I visited a pasture Zao Heart Land.
Unfortunately, a thick fog lay all around.
I enjoyed a world of ink paintings.

Ice cream here is very famous, I hear.
