Last night I went to T City to see a movie. The title of the movie was 'haru no yuki ' in Japanese, which was translated 'snowy love falling in spring.' in English. The original was written by Mishima Yukio.

It was a two and a half-hour movie. The movie had a lot of famous actors and actress in it. Many critics say that it is a masterpiece of Japanese films and that almost all people will be touched by it. No one can watch the movie without tears, they say. Some say that the movie reminds Japanese people what they have lost and forgotten.

Every scene was surely beautiful. Every scene was surely gorgeous, because it was the story of Japanese court nobles. There were many scenes which expected me to cry.

I know I am a very sentimental person. I think I have a tender heart. But no scene in the movie drew my tears. I found myself severely critical of each scene. Why? What has made me so remote and cold? Is it because that I don't understand Mishima Yukio's world? Something is different.
