Today I visited an art gallery in Shinjuku. One of my friends in Tokamachi City in Niigata-ken is a ceramicist and he gave an exhibition of his ceramics there.
The gallery was located near Shinjuku Gyoen. I have never been there. I had wanted to visit it after I enjoyed his works in the gallery.
But I stayed there so long that I had no time to visit Shinjuku Gyoen. It closes at 4:30 p.m. "I will come again," I said to myself.
The theme of the ceramics was 'winter scenery.' I saw cold wind, snow, blizzard, icicles, irori (Japanese fireplace), or hot sake ( I mean atsukan) in his works. Each of his works tells me something.
I came home around 7:00 p.m. The moon was at its full.
