koharu and I

Yesterday koharu's mother was very busy,
so I myself took koharu to swimming school.
She is now a very good swimmer.

She was born with some trouble with her muscle.
Her neck was unsteady and did not sustain her head.
Her doctor said the day would not come for her to walk.

Now koharu can walk, though she often falls down
and hurt herself.
Now koharu can run, though not quickly.
Her leg muscles are getting stronger, I'm sure.

koharu was born with ear trouble too.
koharu underwent an operation for her ear twice.

Everything went well with koharu.
koharu is getting stronger each day in mind and body.

Yesterday on the way to the swimming school,
koharu told me about her dream in the future.

koharu told me to live and see her dream come true.

What a kind girl koharu is!

Upper House Election

2010-07-11 16:04:00 | ノンジャンル
I've just been to the polling place.

I hope Japanese voters are interested in this election
as much as in the World Cup or the scandal about
Sumo Wrestling.

I am not sure whether DPJ's ruling Japan will be
the best way or not.

DPJ's 10 months in power is too short to be evaluated,
I think.

But I'd like them to lead Japan a little longer.

driving leisurely to Choshi, Chiba

2010-07-05 10:40:00 | ノンジャンル
Yesterday Mrs. M and I enjoyed a long drive
from Tokyo to Choshi, Chiba--in her car Audi.

She is very good at driving.
I used to drive when young, but returned
my driver's license several years ago.

"Where shall we go?" said Mrs. M.
"Oh! I'd like to see a boundless sea, not a gulf."
"How about driving to Chiba and seeing the sea?"
"Good idea! Thank you."

The weather forecast was not good--cloudy to rainy.
But the weather began to clear!

First we stopped at Makuhari SA and Kidohama-beach.
Then we drove to Choshi and visited Inubosaki, which
we visited last year.

What a pleasant Sunday I had!
Thank you so much, M-san.
