bright sunshine in the rainy season

Last evening I was hurrying home,
when suddenly I got a thunderstorm.

Lightning flashed!
I was walking along the street with a row of tall trees.

Thunder and lightning came to me at the same time.
I was afraid those tall trees would attract lightning.

What a relief! I got to my apartment safely.
The thunderstorm was gone during the night.

What a delightful weather we had today!

I opened the windows to let in the sunshine.

I enjoyed walking along tamagawa-josui in the bright sunshine
