Yesterday I had a bus trip to Hakone.
It was a beautiful day, though it was windy.
I enjoyed a bright blue color of the sky.
How happy I was when I saw Mt. Fuji from my
bus window. I was excited to imagine that
I would see glorious Mt. Fuji on the shore
of Lake Ashi.
To my great disappointment, I could not see
Mt. Fuji! The white clouds blotted out Mt. Fuji.
It was windy but the clouds would never blew away.
Lake Ashi reminded me of the day when I stood
on the shore overlooking Lake Ashi---
with my dear husband and our beloved daughter.
36 years have passed since then.
