a big tree

I saw a big tree in the neighborhood.

I didn't notice it when it had green leaves.

It is noticeable when it has no leaves.

The tree looks old.

The tree looks strong.

The tree looks broadminded.

I wonder what tree it is.

a glorious sunset, today

I had something to do around Musashi-koganei Station.

I went there by bus and walked back
to my apartment.

I walked very slowly.

The soft chilly wind was blowing
and made my ears and nose cold.

I was feeling refreshed in mind and body.

How happy I was to see the glorious sunset!

It brought back many cherished memories to me!

I miss you, darling, desperately.

(the sunset I saw around 4:30 p.m.)


I walked 10067 steps in a day.

What a lovely day!

This is the 3rd day of the new year 2015.

I'm now watching 91st 箱根駅伝 on TV.

I can't help admiring all runners deeply
for their sincere efforts.

On New Year's Day I visited a local shrine 熊野宮　
with my daughter's family.



On the way home we had a very good time talking a lot
at a restaurant.

Yesterday HK-san and I visited 拝島大師.

It was our first time to go there.

At Tachikawa bus terminal, we took a bus for 拝島営業所
and got off at 拝島大師前.









Dharma doll Market, 「だるま市」, is very famous, I heard.





I prayed for my family at 日吉神社 too.



HK-san and I enjoyed ‘New Year's dinner’at 歌行燈
in Tachikawa Isetan Department Store.

How delicious the dinner was!

HK-san has been taking care of her own parents at home.

We always have a long talk
and I always tell her to take it easy.
