today's song

In the morning I practiced playing the harmonica.
I practiced some songs for harmonica volunteering.

One of them was "uruwashiki-tennen。"

Do you know this song?

This song reminds me of the Kinoshita Circus.
I remember my mother taking me to the Circus.
Was the song the theme music of the Circus?

This song makes me sentimental.
I don't know why.

Is it because I miss Mother?
Is it because I remember feeling sorry for the animals
in the Circus?

walking to Showa Kinen Park (1)

This morning I saw many people walking
in front of my apartment.

"Oh, I want to be one of them! I'd also
like to walk as far as I can," I thought.

At Tamagawa-josui Station I was wondering
whether to go on or to return.

Then I saw a group of 6 people walking
to Showa Kinen Park.

I asked them to show me the way
to Showa Kinen Park.

Then they told me to walk with them.
"Thank you so much!" I said.
How kind they were!

I enjoyed walking and talking with them,
arriving at Sunagawa-guchi of Showa Kinen Park.

I said good bye to them at Sunagawa-guchi
and walked to the open space, Minna-no harappa.

Poppies were in full bloom. They were so bright
and beautiful.

I ate onigiri in the open space.

I walked to Tachikawa Station, got into a train
on Chuo Line and came back to the apartment.

I was grateful that I was able to walk
to Showa Kinen Park.

It was my first experience to walk
to Showa Kinen Park.

I walked 25716 steps today.

talking with a farmer

After saying good-bye to koharu,
I went shopping at a nearby supermarket.

On the way I saw a farmer taking care of his field.

He was giving additional fertilizer to his potatoes in the field.

I enjoyed talking with him.

He was kind and told me about growing vegetables.

I knew he loved his vegetables so much.
